At the reception , however, the person who check us in was not straight forward and promised us beach view instead we got tower view to some building view. He should not fool his customer just to get what he wants instead be honest. I spoke with his manager Tamer and he got us one of the room with beach view. I appreciate Tamer for being an efficient manager. Regardless I booked courtyard view I haven’t got any!. Another issue we had is the Holiday Pic company the ONLY affiliating photography studio of the hotel. Since it is our wedding anniversary the hotel doesn’t allow any third party photographers. Therefore, we have no other options but to grab Holiday Pic as our official photographer. Their photographer name Sophy is highly recommended, even though she is not feeling well yet she did her best to take pictures our pics. We have gathered 600 pictures, but Holiday Pic said we only paid the package since we want to get all the pictures they have offered us to pay 9000++ AED. To our surprise why would we pay for the 9000 AED for only a digital copy? Their price is more than the price of our room in Sofitel for 3 nights. They would allow not us to use outsourced photographer, yet their rate is unreasonable and over pricey. The video is rubbish. They said that’s it no editing will be made nor they will not edit the video. You’d rather take the video by yourself than paying thousand for a waste. I would never recommend Holiday Pic Studio.

The place is amazing, however, the Jetty guy though was sitting with his legs up, offered as little as he could of services and help. We have been in many places we would take such services is a second if they offered properly.

I booked 3 nights at the resort. However, because of the weather conditions we couldn't use the pool and other hotel amenities. Also, whenever we try to place an order from in room dining it could take up to 3 hours to get an answer. I expected some sort of a compensation from the hotel but instead when I thought to extend my stay they gave me a much higher rate.

Only I would say having everything perfect probably you might consider to make some changes in the room new furniture beautiful painting it’s worth it the place is beautiful

I have to say the staff here are the kindest the hospitality is super wow and amazing . It’s hard for me to complain as they make sure that everything goes right I must thank them all and if I was not wrong with named the front office manage who send me a sweet message and depak I hope I spell his name right from room dining with his kindness and each and every employee and the fact that even the employee of the restaurant act same like the staff in the hotel not sure of the name it’s a grilled restaurant opens at 6 there was a sweet lovely lady from the Filipins she direct me to every facility at the hotel well done amazing requirement well done really

The struggle to get sunloungers at the pool or beach. I understand it is a busy period but there was not enough loungers for the amount of guests at the resort.

There is some traffic due to the Atlantis Water park in the main street. Food prices in the hotels'restaurants are quite high. I dont recommend this hotel for those who are after serenity because it seems that the hotel is recommended by tours to families with children. It would be better if they add Sushi to the breakfast menu. Wash basin design is very nice but water splashes all over.

Hotel is very well located in the palm. Staff are very nice, kind and helping. Rooms and balconies are big. I loved the mix of chocolate and date gift box that they put in my room as compliment.

They should a rule for people taking sun beds early in the morning. No reserving sun beds with towels.

We wanted to change the rooms and we got a new room. We went to the city for a trip and when we came back in the evening the room was not changed and also they gave our new room to someone else - this was a really bad experience from the reception desk.

Ive fortunately stayed in many luxury hotels and this one certainly didn't disappoint. From the moment of arrival, staff couldn't do enough for our stay. The beach was clean, helpful staff and the beach club served delicious food and beverages. The hotel rooms were as described and very comfortable/luxurious.

In the room there isn’t a mirror which is near a plug for hair drying or a chair to sit and do that and make up only downside

staff seemed too busy all the time. two days - out of 6 we didn’t have the room cleaned, one day we had to wait an hour for sunbeds (anywhere / pool or beach) and only after the towels guys removed some reserved towels we had a place to be in the shade).

The only reason I am not giving a score of 10 is because the the facilities at the hotel are really overpriced, i.e a bottle of mineral water could cost approx 10 times vs what you would pay in a grocery store, a simple ice coffee latte/ simple lunch at the poolside bar costs a fortune. I understand that this is a nice resort and not a supermarket and such I accept of course that prices are higher and I am also fine to pay a premium, but not to this extent - honestly it seems / feels like a rip off and I would expect more reasonable prices and that a serious hotel chain like Sofitel could do better. I also think that soft drinks or at least water should be included in the half board - again, at dinner we had to pay for the ridicolously expensive mineral water as extra. It would would be great if the hotel management would consider the above and make this wonderful hotel even better / more desirable.

Great hotel in an excellent location, it’s very clean, has many pools, a broad range of facilities and a good variety of restaurants with very nice food. Breakfast is delicious as well with plenty of options. The resort is also very kid and family friendly and the staff was always very kind and helpful. The beach is nice as well & despite the size of the resort it never felt overcrowded. I would highly recommend this hotel. This was the second time for us and I think we will return again.

Really only some of the other guests and how they behaved. Plus, the fact that we couldn't take our 8 year old with us into the gym and that we had to order additional supplies as the kitchen was not "fully equipped".

We absolutely loved our room which was a One Bedroom Suite with Palm View (we booked Sea View but got upgraded which was fantastic). It was very big with a kitchen and a walk in wardrobe, beautiful bathtub, very big kingsize bed and stunning views.... The beach was very nice and relaxing and all food and beverages were excellent. Loved that we had a washing machine ;-).
