Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandScrambled eggs should be prepared without any meat for buffet. If anyone wants to have that with bacon, that can be added individually. The bottom of the bath is not flat, but a bit rounded which is quite dangerous when you stand there and take a shower.
The best location in Tirana. The room was large enough, bathroom was OK (hair dryer, shower, water pressure was good). It was cleaned every day. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was good, but not great - scrambled eggs were made and served with bacon so not for vegetarians.

North MacedoniaYou can provide a jug for hot water, coffee and tea can be available complementary, Maybe you can have a contract with taxi company so your guest will not be manipulated by anyone
Location was excellent. As a 4 star hotel, at least a jug for hot water, coffee and tea can be available complementary One employee (senior man) from the reception was not polite, but opposite The same guy was asked to order a taxi for me and the address where I needed to go was given to him and he did. The taxi driver which was ordered, was cruising around the city, although I told him that he is driving me in the wrong way, until I call for help from my colleagues in Tirana office. Normally the driver charged me triple price and I was late on my meeting. In contrast of him, a young girl, newly employed was very very polite.

GermanyThe hotel itself is a little old. The rooms could've used a little renovation. The windows are soundproof and wind was getting in unfortunately. The basic amenities (like slippers and toothbrushes) were not included in the price. The google maps can confuse you regarding the parking place. Follow the signs in the city.
Location is amazing. Staff were really nice and helpful. Free parking is good.

MontenegroIn the room we expected provided bottle water and kettle, coffee machine or tea cattle. Unfortunately we couldn't find it in the room. It is not a deal brake because we stayed only one night but for extended stay that is a bare minimum in my opinion.
Location of the hotel is great. The Skenderbeg Square is beautiful and hotel veranda is positioned probably at the best location in the city. As we went there two days ago it is surprising how it is pleasant and warm climate (20'C), and sitting at the veranda is definitely great memory from Tirana. Albanian people are great as well. Looking at the square from the hotel you may see in the distance the National opera house, Ethem Bey Mosque, Orthodox cathedral of Resurrection, Bank of Albania, and a National history museum with painted facade of socialist revolution workers and peasant with weaponry which dates back to communist and socialist time of Albania. This example is one of the many to testify that Albanian people are tolerant, respectful and proud of their past and future. Many countries may learn from them (especially East European countries shameful of their communist and socialist past)! Hotel staff are friendly and respectful as well. For one night stay breakfast is the star of the day 🙏. Great buffet breakfast with various foods such as omelet, bacon, cornflakes, musli, kidney beans, salat, corn, boiled eggs, cakes, croissants, olives, breads, etc. There is a tea and coffee machine with great choices of coffee and chocolate drinks. Overall value for money.

United KingdomBreakfast was poor. Food was luke warm. A bit disappointing as I had paid extra for breakfast. Room was dated but clean. Only channels in English were news channels. Although I realized late that the room had a smart TV and I was able to log on to Netflix using my own account.
Excellent location overlooking Skanderbeg square. Very central. Airport bus stop only 2 minutes walk away. Staff friendly and helpful.

United KingdomI ate in restaurant twice , food was great but staff pretty much ignored me as I wasn't part of the big group booked there. No duvet cover on duvet, just a loose sheet to protect me from previous guests. No tea/coffee facilities in room. If I had known there was a loud outdoor concert each night next to hotel, I would not have booked. Impossible to sleep until after 11.30
