The location of this hotel and surrounding , it is near river and surrounded by mountains. The architecture of the building and the grounds , a mixture of early renaissance outside and modern minimalist interior with the unique Armenian style. And of course very kind and friendly staff.

We cannot blame the hotel but we would have liked the bed a touch harder, this is personal.

Riverside room gave us calming sounds. Lovely hotel, service oriented and friendly staff. Great kitchen, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Good winelist too. The atmosphere here is luxurious and calm.

There is a need for some refreshing in the rooms. The pictures of the rooms are more welcoming than the rooms itself. Perhaps some plants or flowers? Would make the rooms look less sterile. Also, having stayed in the Presidential suite the outdoor balcony had no area to sit and look at the beautiful view.

Not a big issue, but It would be good to have a more segregated smoking area, which does not affect the rooms through windows. However with the smoking culture in the country, that is probably not feasable at the moment.

Great location, friendly stuff, tasty food and comfortable rooms. We will be happy to return for sure!

Unfortunately, the restaurant requires a lot of improvement from taste perspective. We live in Armenia for a year now, and always got good and delicious food, but it is not the case here. A few dishes like grilled Ishan were good, but the rest is below the range for a hotel of such quality.

This is an amazing place with several really good hiking routes of different difficulty. The personnel is very friendly and supportive. The river side room is definitely worth the extra cost.

Very professional and informative check in - best in Armeni yet. Early check in, upgrade to a room with a river view made for a great stay. Local hike from the door possible and map even provided. Private Sauna with Cold Plunge pool arranged with an hour's notice. Swimming pool a rare treat. Breakfast was different to the usual with a range of cooked egg options. Mushroom salad was delicious. Dinner and drinks not overpriced even though upmarket accomodation.

The room itself was not too exciting. The river right next to the hotel is quite loud. The wooden floor had scratches everywhere, the wall's color had some spots, most likely caused by water entering from a leaky roof. I don't understand why the hotel doesn't invest a little bit of money to repaint the walls (also in the restaurant, the paint on the wall should be refreshed). For a hotel in this price class, I expected a softer bed, not containing metallic springs in it, which I found somehow old-fashioned. The main illumination in the room came from a fluorescent tube covered in a glass cage on the ceiling (that really looked cheap). The lamp's glass cage was cracked on one side. In both the sleeping room and the bathroom, illumination was too dark and cold (cold white instead of warm white light which would make a way more cozy impression). The hotel's booklet on one of the room's desks looked like somebody had spilled a drink on it in the past, and it's rear side looked dirty. Also here, I don't understand why the hotel just doesn't care about these things (checking this every time before a new guest arrives). I mean replacing stuff like a booklet really costs almost nothing. Service in the hotel's restaurant was friendly but not very professional. I was served with two mineral waters and a beer (I ordered none of them) - they had confused it with an order of another guest. When the wine I ordered arrived, the waiter filled it vertically and nervously into the wine glass, so the inside of the glass was full of splashed wine drops. All in all, I found for the price paid, one could expect more.

The hotel is located right next to a river. The reception was attentive and helpful. In the restaurant I had dinner and also breakfast. Both breakfast and dinner made the impression of good quality and of a kitchen chief who really understands his work. The hotel also offered me to visit its own bath/ sauna area (which I didn't use due to lacking time). I could park my brand new rental motorcycle in a safe area behind a closed gate. For additional money, the hotel washed my clothes (which was actually not cheap, but done nicely).

The views from both sides are mesmerizing. On one side there is the Debed river, on the other side there are mountains. The food is extremely tasty. And all in one building, no need to go to another place or have a long walk for the pool or gym.
