Just a little outside of town, but nice and quiet and great if you are going north for fishing or other activities in Lanin.

Beautiful property and well designed hotel. It smells wonderful from the moment you walk in the door! The included breakfast was great and the optional dinner was a good choice after a busy day. The hosts are wonderful and speak great English and provided really good recommendations for local restaurants and where to exchange currency. The property is even better than the photos appear. You’ll love it!

We spent 7 nights at Del Alto & we are so happy that we did. Lilli & Fernando are amazing hosts. Wonderful large bedroom with a great view. The breakfast is delicious, and if you want to reserve dinner, that is an option also. Lilli is a skilled chef. Plus: Heated pool Sauna Gym Hydro Numerous sitting areas Mini library

Everything was beyond perfect.

Without doubt, one of the best places to stay in Argentina — in fact in the world (I have travelled a lot:). The Casona is beautifully laid out, the views are superb, the interior decor is thoughtful & classy, and the meals were exceptional! However, what tops it all are the hospitality & warmth with which the owners host the travelers — words will not do justice to the effort that they put in to make you feel at home ! Our stay was a highlight of our trip & we will be back!

We could have planned on staying longer.

Websites usually over hype the qualities of the accommodations. Here, the place is even better than suggested by the write up. The house and grounds are gorgeous, inviting and not in the least pretentious. It is a place to relax and feel at home while traveling. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Fantastic. Bravo. On a 1-5 scale it is at least a 6. Add your accolades. I agree. Casona Del Alto is wonderful and the owners, Lilli and Fernando are too!

essentially nothing although getting there entailed a short trip on a gravel road if that’s an issue for you. for us, manageable and very worth it to get a beautiful, uninterrupted view of the valley

the grounds were beautiful, the house design was so cozy and lovely, the room was spacious, a cute couple owns and runs it who were very helpful with all of our questions

I am struggling to think of anything we didn't like. It is out of town but with a car that is not a problem.

Stunning views across the valley to the mountain range. Exceptional bedrooms and common areas furnished to a very high standard. Wonderful food at both breakfast and dinner.

Nothing. Some may say it's far from downtown. We booked because of that to live a full mountain experience.

Breathtaking view, excellent structure and rooms. Lili and Fernando are just amazing! I do recommend to have both breakfast and dinner. Lili runs the kitchen and her food is delicious!

This hotel was exceptional in every way! The aesthetics were sublime from the amazing views off expansive decks, to the soothing colors and tasteful decor, to the fragrance wafting through the entire hotel. Even the classical music brought peace and tranquility. We arrived hungry, and the innkeeper, Lily, graciously made us sandwiches, telling us all about how she and her husband had built the inn. Delightful!

Even though the hotel is lovely and the management are very nice, the room rate was excessive at $320 per night (high season) compared to similar experiences in Argentina.

The property could use a few more staff as the nice couple running it seem a little overwhelmed at times. The rooms had no ventilation when the windows were closed (it was mosquito season).

The property itself is beautiful, very clean and well located.
