We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

ArgentinaThe air conditioner in my room didn’t work and the shower head sprayed everywhere. Other than that it was a good place to stay.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is decent. The neighborhood is pretty cool too. Everyone was nice to me and my dog. He made friends with everyone that he met.

United KingdomWould have liked a television in the room but there was a TV in the shared lounge area so probably helps keep the cost down.
Great, central location close to shops, bars and restaurants. The room was basic but clean. The staff were very helpful with 24 hour assistance. The shared kitchen is on the 5th floor with outside seating. Didn't have the breakfast but if wanted it was only USD4. There was a hairdryer available at reception. Lots of different age groups. I would say very good value for money as got a special rate on booking.com.

CanadaKitchen is poorly stocked with essentials. Like a good pan, fork, knife. The basics. Wifi was in and out. Power was off a couple times which was likely out of their control but they didn’t seem to care if you had to find your way in the dark. Staff rarely even say Hola when you walk in. They just stare at their phone.
Great location in san Telmo. Comfortable and clean. A good base to leave your stuff and explore but not to spend time in the hostel.

United KingdomDidn’t use kitchen or pool so can’t comment. Don’t think there was much of a kitchen. Breakfast was extra so didn’t have it. Annoying that we were charged in advance in USD. Meant we couldn’t take advantage of ARG peso exchange rate.
Smallish sized private room for the price. Decent bathroom and good shower with toiletries. Helpful staff who booked us an Uber when ours wasn’t working. Good location with lots of nice cafes around. Quiet at night.

CanadaStaff at the desk when we first arrived (later in the evening) could have been a little more forthcoming in letting us know what was available. It wasn't until the next day that someone just happened to mention the full kitchen on the 5th floor. The kitchen could use more dishes (especially bowls and smaller plates). When we arrived, the room was really hot and the ac was unplugged because it wasn't working. My husband finally got a box of remotes (after an employee tried really hard to get the ac unit working) and was able to start the unit so it would run beyond a minute. He also fixed a problem with the louvers.
Pretty much everything. Most staff were accommodating and provided us with detailed information including bus numbers or subway instructions for travelling around the city. We felt very safe in the area of San Telmo and within Circus Hostel.

PeruNeeds sone remodeling of the rooms and better furniture at the TV room.
Don’t expect luxury. It’s an old hostel. It has what is needed for your stay. Rooms are small, they do not have a TV. In the other hand, it’s very well situated, closed to restaurants, cafes, Sundays fair, San Telmo’s mercado with plenty of little coffee shops and places to eat and shop. The staff was friendly and courteous. The pool an the TV room we’re fun to be to have coffee/tea or a glass of wine in the evening.

ArgentinaAbsolutely nothing is happening at this hostel. At least in the season I was staying. Such a great house withe a nice pool and common areas but it was pretty boring. And I'm not the one laying in bed all day, hoping, that something would happen eventually.

Nice and comfortable double private room. The pool was a real asset during super hot temperaturs. Service was great, friendly and flexible. Saftey precautions are very good. The location is great, a foot step away form everything in San Telmo.
