There is an odor like black water every time you get into the property. Besides, it was the only place in Ushuaia where they asked us to pay 20% extra if we use our credit card. No one else did it.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to, but not on the main strip, which kept it quiet. I liked that. The bed was really, really comfortable.

We can sleep pretty much anywhere and that was the case here too, but you can definitely hear everything happening around the hotel. Bring earplugs if you're sensitive. The beds in our room were impressively hard, and the shared spaces--particularly the breakfast area--smelled pretty musty. That's true of everywhere we've stayed in Ushuaia though, so I wouldn't fault the hotel in particular. It's a remote place and things everywhere feel a little shabby/well-used.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The value seemed good for the choices available in town. The shower was good enough, and the options at breakfast were limited but tasty and sufficient for our needs.

The location is excellent with access to main street which is just a block away with tons of great places to eat. The rooms are tiny but big enough and we got the second floor room which had an incredible view of the Beagle channel. The rooms are very very clean and the staff is nice and helpful.

Very well balanced considering cost x location x comfort x affordable crew. It is very close to the middle of San Martin Street (this is the main commercial street in Ushuaia). This is a hotel so reception is available 24 h. I recommend the stay.

While HHM has the charm of old houses and is well maintained, it would benefit from sound proofing the windows as noises from outside (e.g., barking dogs, car engines, etc.) could be heard during the night.

The property is located in proximity to the main street with shops and restaurants. The room was small but very clean and the amenities were good. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I chose this place because I needed an overnight stay after a cruise and HHM is a short distance from the port. However, it is situated uphill and it is more convenient if you arrive by taxi or if you don’t have big and heavy luggage.

No luggage rack. Small shower. Small breakfast room, you have to choose one of 8 time slots of 20 minutes to have breakfast.

Great location. Close to the bus station. Got a very quiet room not facing the road. Tea/coffee making facility in the room. There is a small safe. The bathroom comes with a bidet. There is a small table with a chair.
