눉Nothing to complain about
눇Bla guesthouse was great - a very central location and the minute we entered we felt welcomed and relaxed. The staff were all very friendly - with a small nice hostel vibe. There's a clean big kitchen available to use. The rooms were clean and showers hot. I would stay here again!

눉Like so often in South America, here also it doesn't seem that the constructors/owners of the hostel have used their brains when they founded the hostel. Let me give you some examples: - The roof is made of wood. The distance between the upper beds and the roof is ca. one meter. That means you hear every single step of the people in the upper room, which is really very annoying. - There are three toilets for more than twenty people in the hostel. In El Calafate almost everybody wakes up at the same time to do their tours. You can imagine the rest... - Here also like everywhere in South America you always have the same breakfast: white bread, dulce de leche, "fruit juice" which tastes like artificial idontknowwhat. Not the healthiest food for beginning a day full of activities. - The distance between the beds in the dorms is too small. You can't even get to your bed without bending like a snake. Why? - There is a big lack of plugs. Come on guys, everybody needs a plug for their devices! - the WiFi connection is often very bad - At night, there is a very ennervating noise of some kind of generator which seems to be installed just beside the 6 person dorm. Sleeping impossible. - A laundry load costs 100 pesos, which is ca. 10 USD. No words... - The holes for the lockers are too small so that your standard lock probably won't fit and you'll need to borrow one from them for 50 Pesos which I also had to. The open/close number combination of it was 123...really a no brainer. During my long journey through South America I have made the experience that the best hostels are those led by Europeans. It's the details which make the difference and sometimes there is not much to change in order to transform a bad hostel into a good hostel. This hostel has done nearly everything wrong.
눇The staff is really cool and helpful

눉Dormitories a little bit too small to be convenient, but aside of this: todo bien.
눇The hostel is almost perfect starting with a central location, spacious communal space, a big and well equipped kitchen. It's clean, warm and wifi works fine. Very good breakfast for South America/Argentina. Most important: amazing staff. Very friendly, very good English, efficient, helpful with tours and buses. Fantastic prices as well. We loved it.
