Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No safe though as you have to deposit your valuables downstairs in main reception. Long narrow corridor and you get a little disorientated. Lift for units nos 600 are inaccessible at front lift lobby. Got to walk right to the end.
Room was large and clean. Easy to locate. Near the train station. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. No fuss hotel. Nothing to shout about. If you are staying for one night, nothing much to complain about.

Cleaning was quite poorly and bins and toilet paper was not checked /cleared in our room for 2 days. Sometimes the wait by the bar was very long as only 1 staff working between the desk and the bar, they were doing their best and always very friendly even working under pressure.
The front of house staff to the kitchen staff and cleaners were very welcoming and friendly.

Very friendly staff, comfortable and clean bedding, great facilities and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, as well as the train/bus stations. Clean shower room and bathroom.

They forgot to reply to my request for the reservation of the parking space. Fortunately there is a garage next to the hostel, but is a bit more expensive. The fan in the bathroom was quite loud and could not be turned off.
Spacious room, nice breakfast, good location (close to the main railway station).

No TV in the room as in description. Too many loud school groups, thinking the place belongs to them only, i.e. blocking the entrance. Cleaning is very basic.

Everything was great, your rooms are large and spacious, the beds are clean, the shower and toilets are extremely clean. Other than that, everything was great, your breakfast was legendary. Proximity to the Vienna Central Railway station (Wien HBF). Its a short 2-5 min walk from the station. Very easy to get there from the airport (using OBB trains). OBB trains (red colored ones) halt at Vienna Central and operate at fraction of a cost compared to the CAT trains (green colored ones). Would recommend the property especially for those spending their first night or their last night in Vienna due to the ease of airport connectivity. The Vienna Central station has abundant eating options (akin to a mall)

The room is quite dirty. No one cleaned for the entire three and a half days of stay and probably before that as well. Garbage was collected only once. The room had bedding from previous residents. And that's why it was necessary to go down to the reception itself and take the necessary.
It is difficult to answer the question whether it met expectations. The hostel looked a little better in the photo. I liked the location the most. It was convenient to get everywhere, as the metro and other modes of transport are nearby. The shower was broken and was quickly repaired.

Artificial light level in room is horrible. Steps/ladder to bank bed is almost not funcional. It hurt your feet.
Perfect location to travel to airport. Near to central train station. Good size of room for 4 people. It is perfect solution to have WC and Shower in separate rooms for 4 people.

The main downside is that the building is labyrinthine and one can easily get lost. In some rooms the Wi-Fi isn't very reliable either.
A decent hostel with basic amenities, close to the hbf train station, with positive vibes, a nice lobby, and helpful staff, especially Valerio, who despite having responsibilities as both a receptionist and a bartender, was always willing to assist you with a smile on his face. Also fully accessible to people with disabilities.
