It's a little aged place, but still OK. To expensive breakfast

Great value for money. We arrived at Franz Joseph Bahnhof which is an excellent location for a visit to Palais Lichtenstein. Good Ethiopian restaurant 5 minutes away It was only 35 minutes by public transport to the airport on our departure.

The hotel is located in a very nice area, with parks and many good bakeries. Very well connected with multiple tram lines. Simple but nice rooms at very good prices.

The location is good. It can take 20-25 minutes of walking to get to the center.

The walls are really thin, you can hear everything from other rooms, corridors. My room was next to the elevator, it was quite noisy.

As I have many food allergies, I have to pack my own items no matter where I eat. While the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of cut fresh vegetables and fruits, there was a lack of milk-free and gluten-free extras (with the exception of a single granola mix) that could have catered to those unfortunate who cannot induldge. I will pack my own pillow next time.

The room was clean and renovated. Bed comfortable. Breakfast buffet was equipped with everything, from cold plates including smoked salmon and fresh rolls to scrambled eggs and a choice of beverages from coffee and teas to juices and even sparkling wine.

The shower was a bit cramped. On the Friday morning the breakfast room was much more crowded than on the previous mornings, and the staff didn't seem quite ready for that.

Room was fine, and I liked the fact that it was nice and quiet, even with the window open. Breakfast was good. It was easy to walk to the centre of town from the hotel.

The reception is not the friendliest and the lift is quite small so just to take note.

The room was well-maintained and I manage to see the NYE fireworks from my window! Location is slightly complicated but close to metro stations.

Huge rooms, fantastic location within walking distance of the Inner Stadt, on a super quiet street (and in front of University buildings which adds some interest). Transport links are easy and will take you anywhere in Vienna (though to get to the closest tram, line D, you have to climb some stairs). Overall, a really good stay!

The room temperature was a bit cold during the night-morning. There was a smell (from carpet?) in the room.

The staff was very friendly! I could store my luggage in the reception after check out. Kettle with tea and coffee was available in the room.

nice small hotel, in quite neighborhood, family atmosphere after many years I found a Bible in the drawer to read that was mandatory in every hotel up until 30 years ago, tea, coffee provided and every day renewed, very clean, its main advantage you are very close to center, you can reach everything on foot, good value

This hotel was one of the few available options during the busy Christmas period in the heart of Vienna. While the place seemed a bit worn-out, I must acknowledge that it was kept clean.
