눇This is one of few places you can deeply feel the atmosphere of times gone by. We had a very spacious room with 2 bathrooms, furnished in very stylish historical way which let us completely absorb the spirit of medieval aristocrats. The whole hotel is like a living museum, including the canteen, restaurant and all other halls. The stuff is absolutely professional, friendly and they can speak many languagers, even Slovak and Hungarian. We spent here fantastic weekend with our little daughter who felt like a princess here. Thanks for everything !!! We reccommend and give 10 points from 10.

눉I wrote everything at once on the section below, since what I wrote isn't a downside, it's an observation.
눇Here we go. I really hope the hotel gets to see this. Well, it is a 1200's castle, and that's amazing. The building and its surroundings really make you feel as if you were living in a castle (props to the sunrise, if you are willing to wake up 4.30, I really recommend it). One thing has to be said, the rooms are very clean and all the bathrooms in the propriety are renovated. The breakfast is also excellent (best croissant in the entire trip). But: this is not a bad side really, it's more a warning coming from somebody that saw the reality of things there. They are losing their focus. Being a castle that has passed in the hands of different owners across the time, it has different settings, and, for sake of preservation, that should be respected. Something is happening on that castle, and I think it is the result of lack of demand with lack of funds, that they are letting it go. All the esoteric art and energy rocks and celtic art are making the place lose its original purpose. In my opinion they should decide whether they want to preserve the castle (as I think they should) or transform it into a hostel (what it seems to be happening). The whole place is run by a very very very helpful staff, they are excellent in every way. But still, they are young and don't really know how to run a hotel, or a castle. A few examples: they really shouldn't stack a whole bunch of furniture in the breakfast area, it makes it look like a deposit; they should provide a castle map for the guests, since, as in my experience, my daughter was in a room in the other tower and I took some time discovering how to get there. Also, if you want to serve on dinner the bread that wasn't eaten on breakfast you should find a better way to storage it, otherwise it gets dry and hard.
