Unfortunately, we were in Salzburg for unseasonally warm weather and the AC was not available at this time. Our room was very hot. We asked for some fans and they helped but we really missed AC. Shower temperature was difficult to control but not such a big issue.

The hotel was very well located and quite at night time. The Family room was spacious and it was great having a lounge area. 2 separate bedrooms was also a big plus. Helmut at reception was exceptionally helpful and his service was very much appreciated.

The property & its employees are friendly and helpful. But we didn’t like the guests on one occasion, who did not follow the spa etiquette around the small pool. Loud, drinking beer from glass bottles and naked. We stayed in the residence part. The room was spacious, and clean. But sorry to say, it looked a bit boring (as per 7 year old daughter) and not really in a good taste for furnishings (as per my taste 😃). The curtains were either more narrow than the window size, or not moving on its rail. During our stay the weather was perfect for touristing, and we needed to use the AC when we’re in the room, but didn’t have the remote for it, and couldn’t find how we could operate. But we also didn’t ask for any help, as I’m sure the nice gentleman on the desk would be kind to assist actually.

The location is very good, during the day. Lots of choices surrounding for food & drinks. Lively atmosphere. 7-8 minutes of a nice walk for tourist attractions. Maybe because of our room’s location, the evenings were louder than how we would have liked it. So many people passing by, some of them drunk, and unfortunately loud. We could easily follow their conversation on the street. And one night, a guy was hardly stopped by his friends not to damage around…

Location is superb with most attractions within walking distance. It is quiet yet just round the corner of Salzburg walking street. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

The street was so noisy from 4am in the morning. Refuse trucks and lorries made a lot of noise so each nights sleep was rudely awakened, even though the hotel is supposed to be in a restricted traffic street.

The rooms are too hot. The air conditioning does not work, nor does the thermostat system. The staff kindly moved us to another room as it was too hot to sleep and we had to keep the window open all night. The temperature in the new room was more bearable because it was a bigger room, but the thermostat didn’t work in there either.

Clean, comfortable rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice. Excellent location.

Nothing -it’s a winner!

Location, large modern bathrooms, ability to open windows snd individual room temperature control, proximity to train station via great public transportation. Added bonus: laundromat on corner of hotel (great value for wash & dry service) plus super restaurant around other side of hotel (Alter Fuchs). Easy walk to all sites. Good breakfast each morning. All good!

Helmut at reception is a jewel. Check-in with him was a pleasure, providing much helpful information. The room was large with more than enough storage space. Breakfast was a nice choice of hot and cold selections. Pleasant 10 minute walk to old town . Highly recommend this hotel.

The housekeeping staff were a bit keen knocking in the door at 08:50am! Otherwise no complaints.

Perfect location on the edge of the altstadt, within walking distance of all the main sights. We stayed in the annex building across the street in a top floor room, compact but comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't use the hotel facilities or have breakfast but the restaurant and common areas looked nice. Overall a lovely hotel and would stay again.

Excellent location in Old Town. Quaint Hotel with good size spa with long opening hours. Good choice for breakfast.single room provided was large double room. Helpful service ...provided one room early.
