Superb junior suite. Bath tub in room and shower window through to huge bathroom. Very quiet. Few rooms. Amazing wellness centre. Had the sauna and steam room to our selves most evenings

Coffee is disgusting (coffee machine style, no espresso) and not worth of a 4 star hotel, sauna was turned off at 20h already although opening hours go till 21h, restaurant was closed

- no fan or AC in the rooms, we barely slept because of the heat. - no reception after 7pm - spiders and mosquitos in the room

Unfortunately the coffee machine didn’t work at breakfast and nobody tried to fix it, there weren’t enough bowls and plates too and it took very long to replace them The room was a lacking lovely decoration as in the pictures There was a weird smell in the room

The main room of Family room has no window but a locked balcony door, no fresh air. The handle of bathroom keep falling down, better fix it.

There is nothing we didn't really like, but I would recommend to install a shower curtain or put tiles in front of the bathtub, because I would worry that the wood there will get damaged by water in time.

We liked the location and the premises, especially the terrace in front of the entrance. Also the staff was very kind and polite. The breakfast was also good.

Breakfast could be better. We wanted scrammbel egg, but it was finished then we came for breakfast, then we asked for it , but never got it.

It was a great place for a night stop. They do have a sauna as well. Kettler for tea would be nice to have in the room

The area is quiet and peaceful, but a bit far from shopping, dining and sightseeing on foot.

We stayed at a Suite with two bedrooms (but no kitchenette), which was located right next-door to the sauna/wellness area. The room came with a large terrace with couches and tables. Between the terrace and the wellness area, there were a lot of places to hang out both inside and out. The room was furnished in a beautiful wood theme and was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable but not too soft. The receptionist was very kind, helpful and accommodating.

A fan or Air-con would have been welcomed as the room was quite warm on a summer's afternoon. Opening the window would have compromised our privacy. Furthermore, the walk down to the marvelous lake and town took approximately 20 minutes to walk. However, the consolation was that the walk was extremely scenic and thus rewarding in its own right.

We were greeted by very friendly and accommodating hotel staff, who let us park our car in their car park a long time before we were officially allowed to book in. The hotel lay in a quiet location away from the main town centre. Our room, as well as the hotel in its entirety was quiet and ultra modern. It had a state of the art bathroom which was roomy and contained a large shower cubicle with excellent water pressure.

I really missed a sweet breakfast like pancakes or fritters! From the warm dishes there were only eggs and sausages every day.

This hotel is situated a little bit far from the centre - but that was what we love! We have quiet place to stay. To the centre of Gmunden it is 2 km by walk (that is about 20 minutes). To the beach in Altmunster it is only 1,5 km by walk. So you can go for walks in the evening and do not need to use your car.
