Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LatviaI don’t like about the property location. No one inform that it was on the mountains and there is no shop. The nearest shop was in 15-20 min by walking up hill. There is no ski lift. There was blue slope which get you to the main ski lift. The bus which should go to the town and to the main ski lift was not working (we never saw him)
I like about the property cleaners and there was good breakfast every day. The room was perfect and view was amazing.

United KingdomWhen you are not skiing, unless you have your own car or will use a taxi each way, travelling between the main Solden town and the hotel requires a bit of time and effort. From Solden town the Zentrum Shuttle takes you half-way up (the shuttle closes at 21:00pm) and from there you need to hike up a somewhat steep track to get to the hotel. Takes 20/30 minutes each way.
Clean, comfortable room including a balcony with a picturesque view of Solden and the mountains. Very nice buffet breakfast every morning. Located next to Innerwald which is a small group of chalets set above Solden. It is ski in and ski out accommodation - The no. 9 blue slope is a 5/10 minute walk away and once there you ski down to the Gaislachkogl lift.

GermanySadly in booking it said 150m and 300m away from two lifts. The 150m one does not exist anymore and for the one that is 300m away you still need a car or a shuttle because of the high elevation of the hotel
Very clean rooms and super friendly staff!

United States of AmericaGood thing I spoke German. Not much English spoken here. Austrians in this town were very transactional (its about the business). Many seemed disinterested, like the length of the season was wearing on them. Check out time of 7:30 am - you kidding? Fine if you drove there. We hiked. We had to hike 25 minutes to town in heavy snow.
Very good. Family operation.

GermanyIf you go without a car, it's easy to miss the place first time you ski down to the hotel, and then it's a hike back. About 100m in elevation above the main village, even after you use the funicular it's still requires you to walk up a bit more to get here.
Very nice hotel with automated check-in, located almost on the slope. Nice view to the valley. Very cozy and warm, all facilities you need for skiing and snowboarding (skiroom e.t.c).

GermanyWe booked a room with breakfast included in the rate, and were very disappointed with the breakfast buffet. The breakfast room was open from 7:30, we visited at 7:45 and there was one stale bread roll a couple of slices of brown bread left. We asked for some more, and were told that there was no more - sadly no apology or alternative. Over the years we've stayed in a lot of Austrian guesthouses, they always offer a variety of breads at breakfast, always fresh and in an abundant supply - but sadly not here! The door to our room didn't close well so we locked it when we arrived, alarmingly when we came to open the door it took us a while to unlock it. We ended up sleeping in our room with the door unlocked.

NetherlandsRooms are small for wintersport purpose. Room is too small for 2 seperate beds, almost no space to use the table to relax. Bedsheets are small and no other available in the hotel.
Ski-in and out hotel. Clean and fresh, even with a lift. Hotel is located in quiet area off Sölden, which can be nice. Breakfast is ok, not special.

United KingdomAt 18 euros the breakfast felt very expensive for what it was - there was better value available in town. I also felt that the description "Many restaurants, bars and cafes can be visited in Sölden city centre, 50-100 m away" is misleading - this seems to indicate that the town centre is a couple of minutes walk away, whereas it is actually a 30min walk to the main area of bars etc. up/down a very steep hill.
The apartment was nice enough and quite spacious. The bike storage was OK, but a little cramped (clearly designed around skiing rather than mountain biking, and it was handy to have a bike rack and hose outside.
