Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Spotlessly clean, very well managed, staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the coffee on tap all day, bowl of fruit and the breakfasts were lovely with fresh ingredients and choice of hot breakfast. Comfortable bed, shower effective and hot. Situated In a good location, very close to underground, access to integrated transport systems is excellent. We had a really lovely time and would definitely go back - and that’s not something I say lightly.

You can't park in front of the hotel. Its pedestrian street. But the parking in Garage Gerngross on Lindengasse 17-19 is only 2 minutes away.
Nice staff. Free coffee and tea facilities. Good location.

The location was perfect. We arrived with a car to the parking lot arranged with the hotel. It was comfortable and close. The hotel has an elevator. Comfortable rooms. The staff was very nice and kind. It's nice to sit in the beautifully decorated lobby. There is no doubt that on the next visit to Vienna we will come again.

You can hear noise from the other rooms - it was not a big deal for us, but some people might find it annoying.
The hotel is in a great location - very close to an underground station so it's perfect for exploring Vienna. You can also walk to the city centre from the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by all kinds of shops and restaurants. Our room was nice and clean - although be aware that the shower is inside the room, with only a curtain to separate the bed from the shower. Breakfast is lovely - good coffe and excellent bread & croissants. There is free coffee available from the common room all day.

I had a super room overlooking Mariahilfstrasse, but it's a busy and lively street, and it can be noisy overnight with late-night revellers followed by pre-opening service deliveries to shops.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Super location with a good choice of transport options for getting around the city. It is cosy and comfortable but stylish.

Best place I visited in a long time. The area was very nice with a lot of stores during the day and restaurants at night. The room was very cool and clean. The staff was very nice. We really enjoyed!

There is no sink nor even hanger or some shelf in the toilet. It would be nice to have some of that in there, but it is more like a recommendation, not a remark

The room was quite small and the furniture were not organized well so there was no space for the suitcase or no place to sit and no Bedside dresser on one side of the bed. I would say it's perfect for a single visitor
Excellent location. Great atmosphere. Free and tasty coffee. It was a very pleasant stay.

I really enjoyed the breakfast, it was a good variation and fresh, however, the price is a bit too high

Constant reminders to check in online before. your passport information does not need to be stored everywhere.
Excellent location with clean big rooms that are very close to great bakery's and coffee places for breakfast. Also the underground subway is very close so a recommendation.
