Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Bosnia and HerzegovinaWifi wasn't available few times for several hours during our stay due to "we are fully booked". Big problem if you need to work and you are in roaming. No option to control temperature in your room at all. Not clean as it use to be.

United KingdomNoise from the main road. Window did not shut and seal properly. A little bit dated interior but it is acceptable for the price.
Excellent location. Generally clean inside the room. Good amount of space for a city centre location. Good price.

SerbiaAt some point during the evening, the hotel put the air condition system to stop, so we had to open the windows. Since the windows are on the level of the floor, there were some people hanging around our window very close, laughing out loud. It was a bit uncomfortable, but fortunately, nothing happened.
We have stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times, so everything was well known. The staff is very polite. Our room for the first time had a hill view and not view of the other room across. Cleanliness was exceptional.

FinlandLocation is right by the railway station which was the main reason I chose this hotel. Like Ibis hotels always, quality is consistent and everything works. Not a "romantic" hotel but that is not what I am looking for when traveling on my own. Did not try the breakfast.

RussiaOf course if you leave close to Banhoff you can meet different people (drunk, smoking a lot, etc) . The hotel requires a renovation. And I used to sleep with open window, unfortunately due to central air conditioning this was not possible.
The location is ok, close to the Bahnhof and train station. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice as well. In addition, Billa is open till 10pm on Bahnhof.

AustriaObviously, the location is right beside the train station. The environment is loud. But on the other hand, its right beside the train station, so it is very convenient for my purposes.
I had booked a room with a fixed window - could not be opened. I asked staff at the front desk if they could help me. They quite honestly told me of the available options, none of which seemed convincing. After returning from a drink, they told me that they had found a room for me - I could take a look and rerturn both cards in the morning. This was really forthcoming, flexible and just plain nice.

AustriaMattress and underlay were put loosely together. (which was planned by the interior designer of the hotel- this has not got anything to do with the staff) Every time you turned around at night , the mattress moved and so I had to put a chair on each side of the bed so that the mattress did not move.
Pleasant stay. Friendly staff.

TurkeyThe room was cold really cold. The temperature controller on the wall doesn't work as apparently the place is centrally heated. The issue is that the corridor was warmer than the room itself. Thankfully the staff offered some help with giving us an electric heater and offered that if that didn't work we could change our rooms. Since our bags were already open and scattered, we decided to stay in the room and the electric heater worked just fine.
The place was really close to the city and the train station, so it was easy to reach.

MaltaSpiders webs hanging from all 3 light fittings, room was facing the inner 'hof' and had a dirty screen in front of the window making the room dark. There was no electrical socket next to the bed and the 'hot' water was tepid.
The location was perfect for me because very near where I was visiting. The lift was very nice too.

RomaniaI have been asked to provide proof of vaccination NOT OLDER THAT 6 MONTHS ! I received the second dose of vaccine 6 months and 20 days ago and I had to take a quick Covid test. It is against the European Law not to recognize a vaccine older than 6 months ! I took the test and it was alright, but the principle still stands: unless stated by law, no hotel has the right to say when the effect of a vaccine ends.
The gentleman at the reception desk was very kind and professional, despite the fact that he had to reject my older-than-6 -months- vaccination proof.

AustriaIn comparison to other Ibis Hotels, this was quite old and not in the best shape. The showers were a catastrophe and don't have any pressure, so showering was a challenge. The whole room was really old and for the price, I have expected something better.
The beds were comfortable and the windows were quite cool. The location is also quite practical.

PolandThere’s no Ibis dedicated parking but instead you’ll get a discount at the city parking lot situated under the hotel building . Still you have to walk there and back a fair bit to the hotel.
Located in the city center let’s you take a walk to the center without fuss.

GreeceWe were asked to pay upon arrival but they had calculated wrong (plus 30 euros) so I asked them to double check and so they did. They got the answer from Booking app, that my booking via the app was correct but this happened the next day. As a consequence our cards were demagnetised because the system saw we didn't pay- that's what we were told.. They magnetized them ofcourse but this continued every day, so every evening we got back we had to go downstairs again to get our cards magnetized ( except the last evening when they worked). There was no central heating on every day so they gave us an electrical appliance...we got very frustrated.
