Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The night was quite warm but there was no air conditioner. We tried opening the windows but the noise from nearby restaurants and bars was enough to keep us up. So, either put up with the heat or bear the external noise. We were surprised to find no refrigerator in the room - this may be a cultural issue but we missed it.
Firstly, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was quite large and the beds were quiet. The WiFi worked well. The hotel is centrally located and near the Old Town.

The bathroom fan made strange noises all the time and the bedroom floor made loud creeking noises when walked on. Hot breakfast could have been hot instead of lukewarm.
Location was brilliant. Next door to the museum of modern art.

perfect location just in the city center, everything in a walking distance, wonderful restaurants and bars within 5min walk from hotel. Room was clean, looking bit older, but comfortable. Wonderful breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff.

We had a room with a bath and hand-held shower, with no shower curtain, so not really possible to shower.
The hotel is right on the edge of the old city, which is perfect. The old city is small, so it’s easy to pop back to the hotel during the day. First mentioned as an inn in 1663, it became a hotel in 1841. If you enjoy grand old buildings, you will like it here. It has a lovely staircase with wide corridors and old wooden doors. The dining room is attractive and there was a wide choice of food for breakfast.

Bed mattres was not too comfortable. The light in the bathroom was flickering and the air was stuffy.
Very basic hotel in a great location. Breakfast was good with good choice.

The bathroom needs some renovation (although, it is kept clean). The walls are relatively thin so I could hear guests talking in the next room (and walking on the squeaky floor) and some outside noise (including a garbage collection car at 6 AM). Also, one day there was a concert in the bar located on the ground floor and I could hear the music in my room. Finally, it would be nice to have an electric kettle in the room (however, it is not listed as an available facility).
The hotel is in a very nice location - close to the Kunsthaus, river Mur and the city centre, with a very convenient connection to the train station. Also, the staff is friendly.

The room was very simple with old furniture, and the floor was squeaking when walking. It was also quite cold there during the winter.
The location was great, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was quite good too.

The hotel is located just by the river in the centre of the city, about a twenty minute walk from the railway station. It was clean and friendly, with a comfortable room that was ideal for the three nights we were there.

We had been promised a parking place in a underground garage that was closed. On a new Years Eve this is a critical mistake and we had to struggle to find acceptable, safe, and close alternatives.
Good value for money on a New Years Eve in Graz. Large rooms with very comfortable beds. Very good breakfast.

Bathroom towel rail was broken off and not replaced for new guest so nearly impossible to have a dry towel for next shower. No shower cabin in the bathroom, just a bathtub with a hand shower. Bedroom walls all blank, no artwork/pictures.

There is a bar across the street, people seem to be talking outside till 5am. If you’re are a light sleeper I would recommend you to bring earplugs. The shower in the attic rooms is the smallest shower I’ve been in.
The location was great, the room and beds were also comfortable.

My dissatisfaction arose from the hotel's representation of free parking. During the booking process, it was explicitly mentioned that free parking would be provided. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was informed that there was a charge of 20 euros per day for parking.
The location is perfect.
