High single room supplement for a small single room for 1 guest. Single suuplements are usually applied for single occupancy of a double room, there does not seem to be any reason to charge extra for a small single room.

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast.

Had a mix of extremely helpful and friendly staff with a few crabby folks.

Immaculate restoration of a historical building. Perfect location, 5 minute walk to the historic pedestrian area. Ski storage room off the street. Good breakfast.

It's located in a beautiful spot just across the river from the old town, among the colorful houses, with an alpine background. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and cosy. We were leaving early for Salzburg and they had the option of providing us our breakfast to go. We were also undecided about Nordkette given the cloudy weather and the staff were able to show us the weather at Hafeleker which helped us to make an informed decision.

Fantastic location just across the river from the Old Town, with views over the river, old town and mountains. Very close to buses and trams to access the airport. Clean and comfortable breakfast, and good selection of breakfast.

Fabulous stay, & Innsbruck is stunning!

    • Triple Room with Two Bedrooms
    • Stayed 2 nights

Our room faced out to the side street, where below there is a Hostel & Bar, the bar stays open pretty late & the noise can travel, however, the windows are soundproof blocking out the noise if closed. There wasn't any Tea or Coffee facilities in the room, however on tap you can use the machine on the first floor, day & night, but complimentary water would have been welcome.

Mondschein Hotel is within easy reach from the airport via the local F or R bus which takes you to a stop 8 min walk to the hotel, which is situated along the river. The hotel itself is lovely, full of Austrian charm, and dates back 500 years! Despite the renovations, taking this Hotel to where it is today, the building oozes character & interest, & has a beautiful feeling. The staff are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable & friendly; nothing is too much trouble, which is refreshing to see. Our room was a split, family room, perfect for our trip traveling with our teenage daughter. It was comfortable, spacious and warm. The hotel offers Bed & Breakfast, a buffet style, offering great choices. It also has a bar area, but we didn't use during our stay, as within 5 min walk you are in the old town where there are plenty of bars, cafes & restaurants. Overall a great Hotel, warm, friendly & within a beautiful setting along the river; the colorful Merchant buildings, infamous of Innsbruck.

Not really the fault of the hotel. We stayed one night in mid March when nights were still cold. Our room was too warm for us. Heat was working fine. Unfortunately we could not turn it down. We could have opened our window but did not think about it until breakfast.

Location was so convenient. Staff friendly. Breakfast hearty. Parking was private and easy.

Although tea and coffee was available free of charge downstairs, some room facilities (kettle/coffee maker) and a fridge would have been nice .

Perfect position within minutes of the old town . The hotel had some traditional charm but was spotlessly clean . Room was large and spacious .Breakfast was great .

There was nothing I didn t like. It was unusual to have a toilet separate to the ensuite bathroom ( adjacent) but we got used to it! There were some facilities we didn t notice straight away such as a free coffee and tea machine in the bar which made up for none in the room. We were entitled to a welcome card plus card which gives free public transport eg the tram, within Innsbruck, handy if you ve walked miles, sightseeing, which we didn t realise until the day before we left. As soon as you ask the staff they explain things and nothing is too much trouble but you have to ask.i still prefer a paper guest services directory- you are encouraged to scan a Q code and then you can access services that way. The TV was disappointing- only 1 English speaking channel- French channel in English. Could do with something like Sky news or CNN- the facility seems to be there but there is "no reception.". Free wi fi was great. Nice buffet breakfast, everything very fresh.

The location is excellent. The hotel has a lot of character and charm eg The breakfast room is beautiful. It is well run and spotlessly clean and comfortable. I felt it was quiet and discreet with a lovely view.

The rooms were not provided with kettle and mugs but we stayed one night so it didn't bother us a lot.

The staff was quick to answer my parking enquiry before we arrived. The instructions were clear. The hotel has good location and near the centre with many restaurants within walking distance. Our famiy rooms were clean and the master room was spacious. We also liked the buffet breakfast. We had a pleasant stay.

The description of the room--overlooking the interior courtyard--could have read, overlooking an interior airshaft. But no matter. We were there for the out-of-doors.

Great location. The room, though small, was well-designed and clean. The bathroom was also quite spotless.

A choice of 2nd pillow would be good as only one was very flat. And it was expensive but free breakfast made up for it! Otherwise everything was superb!

This place was lovely! All staff friendly, great views in the breakfast room. Breakfast was amazing with plenty options for vegans! Free teas and coffees plus the Welcome card were such a pleasant surprise! Me made the most of it!

The hotel is in a great location, close to the old town. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Good bathrooms. The breakfast was served in a lovely room with views across the river. The staff were very accommodating with my needs to have gluten free bread. The reception staff were very responsive to my enquiries by email and also helpful whilst we were staying at the hotel.
