Although our room at first was not what we were looking for, but the reception was nice to give us a better room. The location of the property is in the perfect place of the city. They also provided a parking that costed us 28 euro for 1 night

Nothing. Everything was great.

Checked in early but room was already ready which was fantastic so we got to leave our bags in our room and go straight out for the day. Lovely breakfast and staff were cheerful throughout. Nice bar area and terrace to have a drink before we went out each evening. Location perfect for the old town area so plenty of restaurants and bars walking distance.

Nice hotel, walking distance to the old city center. Bonus is a parking garage. Delicious breakfast. Room was OK in size.

Breakfast is poor for that money, what you pay, every day is the same. In room was very very hot, difficult to sleep. We tried to fix the hitting but didnt help. Also the room need more light. Also the cleaning was not good,

Very bad smell coming from the drains in the bathroom. stains on the carpet. loud street and only possible to heat the room during winter months. service takes a long time.

It was too hot in the room. Had to keep the window open which was not ideal.

Room was very hot despite turning heating off and even with the windows open - the ambient temperature throughout common areas was high too. It would have been nice to have access to one or two English speaking tv channels other than the news or potentially the ability to access a film.

More a constructive criticism than a complaint. There could have been more fresh fruit on offer at breakfast some of it was tinned. The room although very comfortable was lacking in light. we found it quite gloomy. A couple of brighter lights would help no end. No instruction on how to set the room safe.

Breakfast was one of the best we've come across. An excellent selection. The staff were extremely helpful. The whole hotel was very clean and tidy. Less than 100yds from Linzer Gasse a main shopping street and only a 10 minute walk to the old town which is across the other side of the river Salzach. Book Gastoff Alter Fuchs in Linzer Gasse (less than five minutes from the hotel) for an authentic Austrian meal in a lively pub type setting. The food was excellent. Have a coffee in Cafe Konditorei Furst in the old town the pastries are wonderful.
