We had an amazing stay in Pension Bergfried. The host is really friendly and accommodating and knows a lot about what to do in the area. The pension is located in a beautiful area with a lovely view and the bus to Salzburg is really close by. The centre of Grodig has a couple of really nice places to eat and grab a drink. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice place to stay, close to Salzburg and Untersbergbahn (10 minutes walk). Delicious breakfast, nice and helpful owners, safe parking available. Room is cosy, comfortable with balcony, highly recommend.

The apartment is very-well located near Salzburg it takes only 10-15 minutes to city. The hosts are really kind they cleaned the room every day and brought fresh water and soap. The breakfast was good and the fresh coffee was perfect:) The view from the balcony is amazing and the fresh air makes the view of the mountains extraordinary. We were there for 4 nights and were amazed. Recommended!!

Beautiful Mountain View, it was breathtaking. Great breakfast with coffee made to order. Wonderful host who suggested the Salzburg day pass which saved us a bunch of money (can be purchased at hotel). Easy bus ride to downtown, saved us from having to pay and find parking. Great restaurants within walking distance. Parking at hotel free and easy.

Since there are no restaurants close by, it would have been nice to have an electric teapot and some teabags in the entry for when you return to the house in the evening or night.

The house was charming and very clean. The woman who ran the house was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Located about 1/2 hour outside of Salzburg, the first night was a bit of an adventure getting there by bus but we got used to it and it was quite convenient. The bus tickets are good for 24 hours so you can go and return with the same ticket and travel all around Salzburg.

Wonderful location, the majestic mountain Untersberg rising above the pension; a short walk to the bus to Salzburg and the cable car; quiet, peaceful place, at night it is very dark.

Far from the city if you don't have a car. But with a car it's totally ok or if you're looking for something calme.

The breakfest was very good. Very nice owner. The room are beautiful :) We had a very beautiful view on the moutains.
