Although spa was lovely, be aware that on a Saturday (or at least when we were there), there was no space to sit, they ran out of towels and coffee. Also, the spa seemed to be predominantly unmanned and, in the evening, there were a number of couples who took the romantic in the hotel name literally! Not what I was expecting (or wanting to see) in the pool.

Hotel was out of this world; ambience, views, staff, rooms, space (both inside and outside) were stunning. Staff couldn't do enough to help for us throughout our stay. Bedroom was ample size for a family of 3, and the beds were the most comfortable I've slept on. Views from the hotel and the spa were out of this world, bus stop just outside the hotel with a regular service into town. The spa was amazing, and much needed after a day sightseeing.

The shower head was mouldy, and not put on correctly, so water sprayed all over the room. Housekeeping woke us up wanting to clean the room around 8:30 in the morning. Room service ordered for a certain time was 50+ minutes late. The pillows could use replacing.

The area is adorable, with an accessible location the spa is lovely and of course the pool is very nice. The food is wonderful, both for dining and breakfast. The staff are very nice, the common areas are beautiful, heated floors in the bathrooms, well decorated and spacious rooms. The robes are lovely (but stained).

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The facilities (room and spa) were excellent and the staff were very helpful with anything we needed. It's beautifully located, in a village just outside Salzburg- close enough to visit for an afternoon, far enough that it's quiet.

Our room was on the first floor of the old wing. Here the ceiling (made of wood) is the floor of the second floor’s corridor so it was extremely noisy when someone above was walking on it. There was only one coffee machine in the dining hall and this was far not enough for so many guests. Sauna was not hot enough. Despite all this, I can recommend the hotel.

Charming hotel, eclectic mixture of the traditional and the new. Excellent breakfast, great spa area and romantic garden. Nice staff. They speak English well. Getting into Salzburg is easy even by bus. There is a good Italian restaurant nearby.

A mini fridge & coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice.

Very pretty hotel with stylish furniture and extremely comfortable rooms. Everything just looked & felt really good quality. The spa area was lovely with a great view across to the mountains. Outdoor pool with plenty of loungers in a quiet garden area. The bus stops right outside and it only takes about 20 minutes into the centre of Salzburg.

The hotel and spa facilities are exceptional. The breakfast is the best I ever had in a hotel. The staff is super friendly. The restaurant offers great food for a fair price. We extended our stay because we were enjoying everything so much and did not want to leave. It is a romantic place perfect for couples.

The location was just a bit of a problem there is absolutely no public transport near it and we found it hard and expensive to get into the city. Also some rooms have a noise issue but luckily the staff help to fix this but if there were no rooms left I'm not sure what they would've done as the noise was caused by a church outside the building

We got a room upgrade which was very generous due to noise issues in the first room we stayed in. The spa and facilities are amazing. Breakfast was the best!!
