The bathroom is not very good for wheelchair user: - there isn't a chair in the shower (I took a chair by the room) - there isn't sink in the wc (bidet) - there is only one handle close to the wc - sink is not comfortable to use in wheelchair The floor of the room is carpeted

The room had few sockets, and none on the bedside. That was a bit inconvenient but not a big problem.

The room was good and the shower was almost like a spa (strong water flow). Breakfast was delicious and with a lot of options. The coffee was very good. Location is fantastic, walking distance from the main train station, from the bus stop to take the bus to Spitz and Durstain, and also close to the stop to take te Danube mini cruise boat. The room had a ceiling window with a view to Melk Abbey. The restaurant offers good traditional and local meals for dinner.

One room was on the top floor, just under the roof, and it was extremely hot inside, 28-29 degrees. No air conditioning just one very squeaky ventilator that didn't help much.

Very nice location, close to Melk Monastery and city center. Plenty of parking and public parking nearby. Breakfast was correct, rooms and bathrooms very clean, personnel very nice and polite.

There is no airconditioning in the rooms and in summer they tend to get extremely hot. Apart from that problem, the hotel is pretty OK, but not exceptional.

When we visited it was terribly warm and the rooms had no airconditioning or fans. It would have been lovely to have a fan to cool down with. Also, unfortunately, sleeping with the window open meant you would have quite some noise from people who were sitting outside.

Room was hot and difficult to turn off heating. It is a big hotel and has tour groups who were very noisy at times. We opted for half board which was a rip off. In the evening we were offered soup or salad, then schnitzel or risotto followed by Apple strudel. The risotto was a disgusting green mush. We were charged 1€ less than the a la carte prices. I complained and got 15% off but would not recommend the food.
