The cabin was a great size and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. The grounds of the complex are wrote really well maintained. Our cabin was very quiet so sleeping wasn’t a problem. We have booked again!

Even though the property is of an older external style, it is well maintained and on spacious grounds, opposite a large park area adjoining the Barwon River. The apartment was spacious, pleasantly decorated and updated, with many thoughtful touches. It is excellent value for money, especially well-suited for self-catering.

Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy and well maintained throughout the property. Excellent facilities within the unit - very well self-contained and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds/linen, and extra towels supplied for pool was very helpful. Very effective air conditioning throughout unit. Very clean bathroom and shower had good water pressure. Great pool and spa, with recliners to relax poolside. Location was quiet and main shops/supermarket etc only a 3min drive away

Perhaps a little more milk provided for the tea/coffee - not really enough for 6 people to have before we did our grocery shop for the stay.

The accommodation was clean and well-equipped. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family of 6. There were lovely recreational facilities nearby.

we have stayed here once before with our grandchildren to go to the footy at Kardinia Park. it is ideally situated with a 20 min walk to the ground. the facilities at the Motel are great.

It's like having your own home on a well-kept park with a swimming pool and kids playground. The people running it are lovely and have been very accommodating. The apartment had everything I needed, was clean, and the wifi was excellent. Air conditioning in all main rooms is a bonus.

The heater was not working, and unfortunately, we only discovered this issue when the reception was closed, so we were unable to seek help. While this is not a significant concern, I reckon that if the front desk staff had been available, they would have assisted in resolving the matter.

I had an amazing stay at Barwon Valley Lodge! The beautiful location, surrounded by nature, provided a serene escape. The abundance of child-related activities and sports amenities kept everyone entertained. The atmosphere was incredibly calm and quiet, offering a perfect retreat. The easy accessibility, coupled with the friendly staff, made the experience seamless. The room was not only comfortable but also well-equipped with fantastic amenities. Overall, a delightful stay that exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this gem!

Having to leave!

Our second stay, super value, getting a house rather than an apartment in such a quiet location, yet handy for the city. The kitchen was so well equipped with a full size gas cooker that we were even able to cook a Sunday roast for 4 of us. Ideal for short or longer stays.

Really great value, spacious accommodation, more like a house than a lodge, with everything you need included for a short or longer stay. The location is perfect, close to the main road, yet quiet and feeling more like the countryside than actually in a city. The staff are all really friendly and helpful, we will be returning soon.
