Not much choice for breakfast but in spite of that it was very good.

Beautiful location with views of the grounds or the Yarra River from some rooms. This location gets cold at night at this time of the year but the rooms were warm and cosy. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. We’d love to stay another time.

What a beautiful setting, everything about Oscar's on the Yarra is perfect. Christine and her team are amazing and very accomodating. I was so impressed, I started writing the review in my head as soon as we'd arrived. Was going to say the only regret I had was not booking another night, but we ended up staying another night anyway. Did I say the team is gracious? Nothing is too much trouble. Great rooms, amazing breakfasts (as you'll hear in other reviews), and exceptional hosts. With just a 5 min drive to Warburton, Ocars' on the Yarra enjoys an enviable position away from the highway, and is the perfect spot for relaxing by the river. See photos. What more could you want? Our family stayed for 2 nights, definitely the best choice. Not as busy as other scenery spots, Very relaxing and peaceful especially by the river just behind the accommodation. Incredible clean, comfortable room. other than hot breakfast, we had our Easter special dinner which is tasty. last but not the least, we appreciate the warm heart service received from the owner. Will be back again since it is such a good spot to recharge in any type of weather and season.

There was nothing that we did not like, even the weather was brilliant. Town was a bit too crowded so we were very happy with where we were staying.

Although the room was small, it was lovely, but very nice and cozy. All we needed. There was a small deck out to the garden which was nice to sit on. The bed was very comfortable and the room was really clean and modern. We were able to watch netflix in the evening. There was a pool table and lots of board games provided. All the maps and directions were available which really helped with our driving trips. Breakfast was fantastic, one of the best we have had at an accommodation. Kept us full for the whole day on our driving trip. We stayed for dinner on the Saturday night, and it was great. Avoided the Easter crowds. Before dinner we took a bottle of wine down to the rivers edge with supplied pillows and picnic blanket. It was so peaceful and lovely. The management could not do enough for us. They thought of everything. There was even an Easter egg at our door on Easter Sunday! Easter bunny must have come!!?

Loved how gracious the hosts were and their location with the backyard on the Yarra River was simply amazing! The proximity to other places worth visiting, also made it an easy choice. Would definitely like to go back there for a wonderful and rejuvenating break!!.

We liked everything about Oscar's on the Yarra

An home from home environment where Christine & the staff made you feel more than welcome. Oscars is in a great position, edging on the waters of the Yarra River & just far enough away from the hussle & bustle of Warburton but still within easy walking distance to the centre of town using the Lilydale to Warburton rail trail. A great base to explore all that the Yarra ranges has to offer.

In our room the door to the balcony wouldn't stay shut and opened during the night which made the room cold.

Lack of storage for clothes if staying for longer than 2 nights. However big wardrobe with a shelf and 1 bedside drawer.

The location is amazing, backing out onto the Yarra River where they provided seating and a camp fire if necessary. A short drive into town or you could take the warburton trail which takes about 20 mins to walk to the nearest pub The Alpine. The owners greeted us on arrival and explained everything in great detail. The room had its own verandah where you could sit out and admire the view. Bed was very comfortable with pristine linen. Cannot fault this accommodation in any way, attentative staff, amazing breakfast included in the price and a wonderful atmosphere. Free WiFi was great as mobile data was a little temperamental at times. Designated smoking areas around the property also. Accommodation also provided an additional usb charger incase you forget or need more than 1 point.
