location was great with sneak peaks of the ocean through the native forest. For us it felt like we had stepped back in time to our childhood with summers spent at the beach....We only had time for the one night on this adventure.

The creaky floor on the top floor. It was hard to move quietly early in the morning so as to not wake those sleeping on the ground floor.

Loved the quiet location which was central to exploring all the local area has to offer. It was a great spacious stop over for two families on the way down the east coast of Tassie.

Bicheno by the bay is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we were so fortunate to experience. Caitlan (the manager) was so welcoming and helpful and ensured our stay was all it could possibly be. Thankyou, we absolutely loved our stay and will definately stay here again when we return. Our view was stunning and it had all we needed. Great size for a family.

Great location, unique accommodation. We stayed in Ebbtide and it was perfect for our family with all you need for a stay away from home. Quirky renovations with some old and new features.

The lack of wi-fi was a downside. We had hoped (and requested) water views but not many cabins have water views.

Loved the bushy setting and relative privacy of each cabin. Our cabin was very comfortable and spacious. Appeared to be fairly recently renovated (if on a budget). Proximity to town and blow hole was handy.

Compared to where we had stayed in other places around Tassie, Bicheno by the Bay was a little bit more expensive.

I loved our cabin as we had an ocean view.

We had a motel room sadly no light in bathroom only heat lamps on a 30* day not best option couldn't lock our room from inside at all even had a guy from room next door try and help he couldn't work it out either...also front sliding door handle is very loose and that was also hard to lock..only way I felt safe in the room was my husband locked it from outside but only way he could get back in was run around to front climb over rails ( no gate) and threw sliding door...told reception was informed maintenance block on leave a few days..pretty much got an oh well they did nothing ...pretty poor ...omg curtains are cheap nasty new but to small for window gap in them so get changed in bathroom UPDATE ON DOOR no was the same door as room next to us not a fire door at all ..we couldn't look the door from inside room so to make it easier to understand anyone from outside can open the door DOES NOT LOCK AT ALL ... when there is a safety issue sorry but it needs to be in your control locksmith do help if we locked the DOOR FROM OUTSIDE TO FEEL SAFE WE CARNT GET INTO THE ROOM THEN TO GO AROUND TO FRONT THERE IS ....NO .... WAY TO GET ONTO DECKING .....UNLESS YOU CLIMB RAILS SO YOUR RESPONCE TO THIS PROBLEM WRITEN BELOW IS NOT CORRECT MAYBE STAND INSIDE THE ROOM TRY IT AS A PAYING CUSTOMER HAS TO ..AND WE DID KNOW MAINTAINCE WAS AWAY TO WHY WE HAD TO PLACE ALL OUR LUGGAGE AGAINEST THE DOOR TO STOP IT FROM OPENING

The location was spot on and the place was very nice great pool nice pond as you drive in young girls working there were fantastic nothing was a problem pretty much never seen them rooms are big bathroom is nice aswell super soft beds was more the room we had a problem with

Location was perfect. In the words of the Castle. How’s the serenity. The area was so relaxing for us. Could walk everywhere. The 2 decking areas allowed us to catch all the afternoon sun. Loved it.
