Nothing really to not like, the only thing was there were quiet a few spider webs and spiders around the inside of the cabin and with kids they were a little frightened so a little de cobweb would have been great.

It was very spacious, super quiet as it was nestled away in the mountain.

The location is beautiful and well maintained. The check-in was smooth and the property managers Rob and Carol ensured we’ve everything we may need handy and available by the time we arrived. They were very responsive and ensured we had a pleasant stay.

Beautiful rusitic cabin with plenty of space. This cabin sleeps 13 and there has been thought out into making sure it also has the facilities for that many people. There is more than enough seating in the lounge and dining area and the kitchen has plenty of crockery and cutlery.

I eventually had to leave.

Place was amazing, beautiful quiet location. The cabin was huge and well appointed, everything was clean and well presented. Small touches were greatly appreciated like the litre of dairy farmers milk in the fridge, tea and coffee was provided along with biscuits. Combustion heater was great to have and much appreciated that there was fire lighters, newspaper, kindling and wood provided. There was only 3 of us staying so huge amount of room, if you stayed with 2 or 3 families you would still be comfortable as the place is very large as are the bedrooms. Parking was good, there was a carport attached to the side of the house so my mate could park his fancy commodore under the carport so it wouldn’t get dirty. I parked my Celica in the marked parking area which was maybe 20 metres from the house which was good because when I realised I left my toiletries in the car at 11pm it was a short distance to run to the car as it was damned cold outside. Also luckily it was warm inside, there was an air conditioner that was ducted through the house so even in winter the bedrooms stayed warm as did the rest of the house. I like combustion heaters but if you can’t be bothered building a fire you won’t go cold. Carol (the lady I contacted to get the keys and whatnot) was very friendly and helpful.

Would highly recommend. Hosts went that little bit further and had not only wood ready for the fire but had the fire ready for us just to light too. Little touches of milk and tea/coffee made the stay so much more pleasant too - that and the electricity blankets :)

The creaky stairs that woke everyone up if you needed to go to the bathroom and the fireplace door was tricky and hard to close, also there were no smoke detectors.

We liked that it was private. The large living and sitting area. There was plenty of Firewood supplied, beds were comfortable, lounge area was lovely and comfortable. Overall it was great.
