Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The rooms layout didn’t have privacy. No seperation from toilet and shower. I didn’t realise this when I made the booking. Internet was poor and there was no breakfast options available on site.
Bed was super comfortable. Staff were friendly.

It was a little tired and could do with a big clean of cobwebs and windows.
The bungalows and proximity to the beach were amazing. The pool is a generous size and having food on site was convenient. The shower was fantastic.

Would stay more often but not cheap even mid-week. One-night wasn't enough to wind down. can't guarantee check in time prior to 6pm check out 10am

The ledge next to the bath had a thick layer of dust that hadnt been cleaned. The king size bed was 2 twin beds together however one bed was extremely sunken compared to the other one making the bed quite uncomfortable.
The location and the view was fantastic. We loved the layout of the room and how close we were to the tavern and local cafes/shops and beach.

cleaning was not to standard. dirty items in kitchen. rubbish left in bin. a small outdoor table would have been nice. more kitchen utensils would also have been helpful. wasn’t enough wine glasses or cutlery for the number of people that can stay. there were only 3 forks total. had to ask reception for additional wine glasses.
location was good. was spacious and furniture was comfy. nice having the restaurant on-site. liked the option of later check out.

The dishwasher hadn’t been unstacked when we arrived.
The pool and the restaurant were amazing and the location spectacular. The room was clean and beds made up for our arrival.

No breakfast available, the menu was basic and the food we chose was average. We have eat there in the past four times and the food was very good . property needs maintenance, we got married and stayed there 5 years ago and the place is showing a lot of salt damage, deck boards and bungalow sidling hasn’t been sealed, umbrella stands look bad buildings rusty and paint peeling. Over priced for what it is.
View was excellent , room was clean, beach was excellent, atmosphere and privacy where excellent

Entire property Needs maintenance. Rust everywhere , outdoor furniture very old and needed replacing. Gardens/landscaping could do with some attention

Could do with a few more cleaning supplies for kitchen, a couple of extra rolls of toilet paper, paper towel etc, just little things

Property wasn’t that clean. Floors were dirty and sticky in the bathroom area, spider webs and spiders (long leg spiders) all over the inside of the property. Reception is a problem in the area but is understandable due to the location but was relying on wifi to message and call but Wifi was very slow and had trouble connecting to it.
The location is perfect. Great to have the ocean as the backyard

We were in Bungalow No8, all of the Bungalows are mounted on steel girders which are rusty and the paint is flaking off. The general appearance of all of the Bungalows is “tired” the are cobwebs off all of the structures, some of the gates were flimsy and need replacing. Children were riding their seaboards in the area that was supposed to be an Adults only area. When I challenged them to move on they pretty much laughed at me and continued doing what ever they wanted to do. But what we paid for.
