Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaIt is quite dated although some renovation has been done. Microwave needs replacing as does the bathroom vanity. Some mould on the bathroom ceiling. You can hear the shower in the neighbouring room. Only one chair for 2 people. Further renovation is needed overall.
It is located in quite a convenient spot in Townsville CBD. The staff were friendly & we were able to check in early. There is parking on site. Good air conditioning. Price competitive for the level of accommodation. We were only staying overnight. Probably good value if you are travelling on a limited budget.

AustraliaRoom was a little dated. Block out curtains, bathroom sink worn, neither affected my trip though. The bed was uncomfortable. It had a spring mattress which I felt each time I moved or rolled over. I did hear mattress were being upgraded, some rooms already had new ones. It was a little disappointing to find out rooms do not get serviced daily. That said, on the fifth day I asked for my room to be serviced and it was done for me, smelt amazing and looked great when I got back. Anytime I requested clean towels, hand towels etc, these were provided to me no problem at all, along with shower gel, anything else I required. Shower pressure could have been better.
Position of motel was really good. Quiet at night. Close to everything. Pets are allowed on the property which was lovely to see. I asked for a downstairs room with a walk in shower, this was provided for me. Parking is on a first arrive basis however there is plenty of parking, not undercover. Pool area was fantastic and well used by visitors. The complex is well lite at night which was appreciated. Room size was good. Bathroom and shower products provided. Air conditioner worked well. Laundry provided on site as well, $2 for washer, same for dryer. Reception staff are amazing. No ask was too much trouble. Very accommodating, pleasant.

AustraliaNothing major, only thing I have a pet hate for is shower curtains in bathrooms! But I get they probably easier too clean than screens.
We only stayed one night. The property is in a great location, walking distance to supermarket and restaurants, very quiet at night, bed was comfortable, shower was hot, room was clean, great value for a stay so close too town, with very friendly staff. We would stay here again.
