Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe parking is a little bit narrow but still manageable
The cabin was good, the design looks nice with small balcony facing the lake and also little deck area.

AustraliaThere were a few cobwebs with spiders in places such as right beside the bed head that were a bit off-putting.
Michael and Mary were very accommodating when we arrived late due to accidents on the road. They also kindly upgraded us at no extra cost when there was a cancellation in a larger cabin. They are very knowledgeable of the local area, helpful and friendly. The view from the Treetops where we stayed was gorgeous, the breakfast supplied was fantastic, and the balcony-breakfast area was beautiful!

AustraliaThe only thing that wasn't so great was the sandflies and midges. We ended up going for a drive into Cooroy to get some citronella candles to ward them off. The kitchenette needed a peeler, a grater and a lid for the small frypan... definitely not a deal breaker, as I made do but, would've been a help when I was preparing meals.
The owners were welcoming and very friendly. They stocked the fridge well beyond our expectations, including an abundance of fresh fruit and decadent desserts. The cabins were set out for privacy and comfortably suited for 2 plus our fur baby. The pool was delightfully warmer than we thought it would be and well set out too. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would happily book again.

AustraliaThe place is a little rundown but still passable. Enjoyed our stay.
Michael and Mary were lovely people. The food provided for breakfast was amazing! Well more than expected. Loved the fact My Mum n I were able to bring our dogs. Lovely little room overlooking the pond ( which was a little dry.. but hey it's summer!) Quiet and cosy. Picturesque. Micheal had great foodie tips for us as well.

AustraliaThe pool needed some work but granted there was a lot of heavy rain and wind at the time its understandable that it was in some disrepair
This was a wonderful and unique place to stay and fabulous for relaxing. It's a tranquil place surrounded by nature. The owner was so friendly and the breakfast provisions were very abundant and we were spoiled with choice and variety. The cabin was gorgeous and well thought out with everything you would need. I highly recommend this place

AustraliaOnly downside to our stay was the fact that we had to move on.
We stayed in Tree Tops and really enjoyed the facilities. Supplied breakfast (to cook yourself) was simply amazing with good quality products and ingredients. Great location for a visit to Eumundi markets although a little farther from Noosa Beach (15-20minutes away.) Hosts Michael and Mary very knowledge, friendly and welcoming and we felt very much at home.

AustraliaWe understand the work involved keeping the grounds/gardens would be a constant job, maybe a team of people to get it all sorted and then general upkeep would be all that is needed.

AustraliaCleanliness. The kitchen, shower and bed were clean. Everything else was dirty. Mould on the outside was everywhere. Inside, dust and built up dirt was noticeable. Maintenance needs to be done to the wooden slat blinds. They don’t work, could be classed as a danger to small children as the nails protruded out on many slats. We didn’t read the conditions of the property, left our dogs alone for a few hours to which they barked no stop. Owners called us and we apologised, retuned and didn’t leave them alone again. They don’t usually bark. We have cameras at home to supervise them with treat dispensers with voice as well. We could only assume the other dogs at the property constantly walking past our unit along with the noise of work being done on another cabin caused the problem. However, it was 100% our fault as we didn’t read the rules before staying. Lesson learned. Lastly, I was told about the work being done on the cabin down below us. I said it should be fine and wouldn’t bother me. Lady in the other unit had music playing and was singing at 2am until I don’t know when one night. We did leave a day early as the noise from the power equipment ALL day was a little much, I didn’t realise it was heavy duty cutting equipment, nailing guns, work would be all day. Too noisy during the day and at night for us. Pool area and other areas around the property also had wood rot, very dirty, badly needing maintenance so we didn’t use these areas.
Set back off the road, lots of trees, bird life, lovely view from the front deck. Large roomy cabin. We stayed in the Tree Top Villa which is at the top of the hill. Everything supplied. A beautiful selection of items in the fridge when we arrived. Bacon, dozen eggs, cherries, blackberries, apples, mandarins, litre of milk, bread, plus others. Bed was very comfy, King size was fantastic. We were able to take our two small dogs. Kitchen overlooked the bush. Extra king lounge to laze on. Small dinner table. Study nook. Water pressure was great for a shower, the water was hot when needed. Large glass ceiling in the shower was a nice touch, very roomy shower area as well. Barbecue supplied on the patio. Front loader washing machine as well. Lovely little place, great for a couple wanting to get away for a few days.
