I just love Hawley house, ots different not full of character and the area is very peaceful. There are so many places to go walking and running. Love the fact that it's not limited to the beautiful beach. There's so much Bush land to explore as well. Staff are fantastic, I think it's great that dogs are allowed

Would have appreciated thicker blankets. The heaters were a bit too warm for us.

The decor of the room and house were gorgeous! We were late with our cruise arriving at Devonport at night but Sophie was exceptionally understanding. Breakfast in the dining room was also nice.

The dinner for $65pp was not really worth it, but it was convenient to not have to leave the property.

Beautiful historical place from the 1800s with lots of land. It was comfortable and we wished we stated longer.

a beautiful room with fabulous furnishings and furniture in an historical house right across from the beach!! Grounds are wild and delightful, staff lovely an accommodating. You may choose to have pe dinner drinks in the drawing room and a 2 course dinner on site if you wish. Breakfast included!!

We didn’t stay long enough !!

The beautiful homestead, the guest access rooms in the homestead are wonderful. We loved the dogs, the wildlife, the proximity to the beach, the privacy and the peace and quiet of the surrounds. Our room was amazing, the in house food is INCREDIBLE and the staff very pleasant. We will return and stay longer.

I didn’t get to see one of the rare frogs in the pond….hard to find fault!

The property is a historical gem and could be explored for hours! The property may not be up to its original beauty but the house still holds an incredible charm. The accommodations were excellent and the house is spectacular! Breakfast was simple but enjoyable. The fruit and breads were fresh. Love this place!!

Lovely old home on gorgeous grounds-quite a surprise in a modern housing area. Dinner was amazing and made some new friends. Breakfast was also lovely with homemade bread and jams.Can highly recommend

From first sight Hawley House is so picturesque, and the setting is simply wonderful. Sophie’s greeting was genuine, and she made us, and our dogs feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and very well equipped. Well and interestingly furnished, with plenty of room for three of us, and two dogs. The gardens are fascinating with so much wild life, from wallabies to Peacocks and native hens, to Sophie’s three dogs. Breakfast was terrific.

Very dusty in the room.

The food was great and location good however the accommodation was very dusty and I’m guessing they need more help to manage the property .

The view from our balcony was brilliant, and we loved the close proximity to the beach. The staff were always friendly and very helpful.

Loved it! Such a gorgeous setting with wildlife abound. Great hosts! Lovely breakfast and very impressive dinner! I felt like I was dining at a Michelin rated French restaurant! And across the road is a quiet and beautiful beach. Couldn’t be better!

The raised garden beds in front of the rooms were in desperate need of a big tidy up, and the wisteria needed training up the verandah posts and along the veranda so that it could hang down and look beautiful instead of all the shoots just dangling on tables or the ground.

It was slightly dated and some areas are in need of repair and some cleaning like the balconies, the outdoor dining area.

Great location, just minutes from the beach. Old estate with lots of history. The rooms are very spacious, the host lovely and the included breakfast delicious.
