Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The spa on the balcony leaked through the plug i thought.
The apartment was very spacious and clean, full size fridge/freezer, in the kitchen was a bonus . Location was great,within walking distance to shops cafes, restaurants, pubs

The service from the staff was sub par, on the phone I had the worst experience and the staff member sounded like she’d rather be anywhere else. From a business perspective as well if someone mentions it is their honeymoon, it is the perfect opportunity to upsell or provide great service and go above and beyond because those are the people who talk about their experience the most and that was not done at all

The pool could have done with a vacuum out at least once during the week we were there.
Location was the winner. It enabled us to walk to most places around town. Having a swim up room was great and very relaxing.

The pool area was great and very clean, but it was a little tired in parts (one of the spas didn’t work). However this is only minor criticism and didn’t affect our enjoyment of the pool area.
Very clean, well set-up room with laundry, fully-equipped kitchen, nice toiletries, heaps of space at the pool (we were in a 2 bed apt), beach towels provided which was perfect for our day trips! Staff were lovely and we really appreciated their help with recommendations and booking our trip out to the Reef.

I booked a triple room and called to confirm that they would make up the sofa bed for the third guest. Unfortunately this was not done, reception closed at 5pm so we had to contact the external after hours coordinator. We did receive the extra bedding and towels within an hour of arrival.
Great location, in the centre of town. Excellent facilities with ample room for swimming for all guests. Comfortable main bed. Spacious balcony.

Location was perfect. The room was clean, large bathroom and the facilities were very good. 4 pools and jacuzzi on the balcony Early check out however the staff were so accommodating when we had a late flight. We left our baggage in the hotel and we were allowed full use of the pool.

Even though the underground car park is gated and we feel safe around the area. The gate was widely open for the whole time and all the cars exposed, plus, bit of a mess laying around the car spaces.
We had the chance to meet with only one staff member whom happens to be the receptionist, however, she was very friendly and accommodating. The room and the deck was very clean. The spa bath is a delight. We will definitely be back.

We accidentally left an expensive item in room and despite only a few hours' notice, it was never returned. It was our fault for leaving, but it was disappointing it was not able to be located so soon after departure.

Four pools, plenty of lounge if areas and umbrellas- pools were clean 100% of the time. Pool towels available. BBQ facilities on pool decks. Great rooms - Spa on covered balcony plus comfortable outdoor table and chairs. Beds so comfortable, large and modern bathroom. Close walk to everything in Port Douglas Off street parking Staff were great, very friendly- very helpful and also able to book trips for us.
