The dog poo scattered on paths around the resort was really off-putting and unhygienic. The rowing machine in the (small) gym needs fresh batteries and a new chain to work properly.

The manager was a legendary, very helpful bloke.

It wasn’t as clean as expected ie. the floors, and there was buildup of old dust and lint on some surfaces in eye sight. We had 3 adults staying in the 3 bedroom apartment so it would have been good to have 3 double beds (instead of singles…pushing the singles together left a rise in the middle) however the beds were comfortable. The apartment and furniture are becoming aged, however it has had a fresh interior paint job and I do believe further renovations may be on the cards.

The location and views from the apartment were wonderful. The apartment was spacious, beds were comfortable and showers had great pressure and nice hot water. The staff were very accommodating, lovely and friendly.

walls were dirty and damaged, furniture was old and uncomfortable. every room has a different owner though, so it’s a mixed bag - other rooms may have been great. no on-site restaurant.

After awhile the noise of the waves constantly crashing gets a bit much after a while The bed could be a little bigger I do prefer king size the chair beside the bed could be removed

The unit and complex is needing alot of updating and maintenance. In our unit, there were numerous holes in the walls with poor patch up work, old broken holders still on the walls, mirrors on the floor instead of being mounted on the holders; there are multiple tiles missing in the bathroom and old broken furniture has not been removed. The air conditioner was variable- super cold in bedrooms and hardly working in the living room. It just needs some work to bring back to standard. If it was not for the view, I am unsure if you could justify the cost.

The location and the view were amazing. It is easy to get to from the ferry and supermarket was close. There are four pool options which were all fantastic. Each night you can see rock wallabies from your balcony.

it was overall a little dated, our bedroom blind broke during our stay which unfortunately wasn’t fixed whilst we were there.

The bath and tiles need to be updated . Front door mat was dirty and after the storm water laid on the entrance for 2 days, making it difficult not to get shoes wet on entry.

Our apartment was lovely, the pools were fantastic and the staff were friendly and helpful. The apartments are centrally located and it was very easy to access transport to other areas of the Island.

Upon checkin reception staff asked us to wait while she finished a personal call. Would not get off phone until another guest said “ please get off the phone”. When checked into room, notice bed was not clean, office staff reluctant to assist. Manager did however correct this. Rooms are generally tired and in need of a deep clean as dust and marks on every surface. Rooms could have have been fantastic, however basic attention to detail missed. Several pools to choose from, however tiles falling off, with residents over looking the main pool with excessive clutter around pool making it uncomfortable to swim in.

Views from the room, could allow dogs, close to IGA& ferry terminal, spacious room, washing machine. Spacious balcony with out door setting. Manager was informative and happy to chat. Secure premisses.

on the first day of check in, the reception lady was very abrupt and rude. told us they don’t open on sundays. !! then complained about all the local residents that live there. in the end she was ok. on check out, it was a younger happy and engaging reception encounter. perhaps the other one was having a bad day! Wifi details weren’t provided couldn’t open the bedroom windows as they were forced shut, with tissues to soak up the salt water spray. blackout curtains would be nice, but not a show stopper. $430 a night. not sure I’d pay that again.

There was no door on the bathroom so anyone sitting in the living area (or balcony) had full view of someone in the shower. Also the same shower was only separated from the bedroom by a shower curtain. This was intentional design and not ideal. Oven had clearly not been cleaned properly. I had to clean it myself before using it. Fridge was unclean on outside surface or had plastic peeling off it. either way it was unsightly and not nice to touch. Gymnasium had no free weights or weight lifting machines.

Very close to the Townsville ferry, local IGA supermarket, Scallywags cafe and SOS (seafood place). Full kitchen/laundry facilities. Parking onsite at no cost. Rooms are spacious with a separate bedroom and living area. Nice size balcony with views and comfortable furniture.

Maintenance of the property could have been better e.g. air con leaked water from the ceiling vents and was not working properly in every room. Also cleanliness was an issue. Bath had some type of caked on substance and some items of cutlery and crockery were not clean but wasn’t a big issue overall.

View was excellent - balcony overlooked the harbour and views across the water. Location had easy access to the ferry & bus terminal, IGA and Bottle shop. 4 pools in the complex each very good especially with kids. Staff were awesome and very responsive to our needs. Over all everyone we met on the Island was very friendly and welcoming.

Apartment needed some repairs and a paint job. Pre arrival cleaning could have been better. Pools could be heated for consistent temperatures.

Beautiful location, close to amenities and the ferry. View from our apartment was amazing. Rock wallabies visit block 5 nightly from around sunset.
