We had a little issue with the room we got which was already booked and then the room we ended up in had a broken drawer but we were properly helped and compensated very quickly by the management so we were very happy.

We had a deck facing the sea which was amazing. The hotel had a Mayan design which made it quirky which was great. The pool and spa pool layout was perfect.

There weren't any barbecue tools or cleaning things to use after use. There was a sign to say please clean it after use. One night both spa pools were cold. A disappointment. One spa towel for 5 days wasn't enough.

The property was really lovely. I liked the smell in the foyer. The 2 spa pools were great.

Booking on bookings dot com website for 6 people & that was supposed to be included with 6 free breakfasts for 2 days then being ridiculous over charged for it for only 5 people even thou, my youngest never ate her breakfast for those 2 days it was a bit rude being charged for it $62.00 for that she’s only 5 years old that’s not right or fair being charged like that so I wasn’t happy about that who would be breakfast was nice to eat

That it was very close to everything transport wise the tram etc so on shops food movies & the heated spa’s & swimming pool big rooms nice lounge room & kitchen was great space to cook in etc

Amenities was good. Our upgraded room was amazing. Staff who attended with us on our checked in day was excellent.

Loved how close it was to the beach, literally walk across the road! And for those colder days where it's too cold to swim in the ocean, they have indoor pools, sauna and jacuzzi! I loved how close it was to the shopping centres, either a 10min walk or a 5min bike ride along the beach!! Such an amazing stay!!

Breakfast. We paid extra to have included breakfast every morning and I wish we didn’t. Unfortunately most of the food was bland and of poor quality. You have to pay extra if you want a good coffee. All the cereal was stale and when I asked if they had any more the worker opened up the cupboard and I saw a collection of large cereal bangs that were not sealed. They didn’t seem to understand that they would clearly be the same. The bacon was the cheapest you could find. The eggs had no seasoning. The fruit was minimal. All the bread was stale. The juice was sour. The only food edible was baked beans and watermelon so that was my breakfast for an entire week.

We loved the range of amenities and ease of everything. The pool area is great, tennis court and gym are easily accessible. Staff were lovely.

They take a deposit against the room which goes onto your credit card straight away, however it takes 3 weeks to be refunded. This is diabolical in today’s markets.

A last minute choice to stay at the Mantra Sun City. Reasonable location with a 5 min walk to the beach and same for coffee bars and restaurants. Room was ok with a good balcony. Would stay again if required.

Like most hotels these days, the hotel could do with some serious upgrades. Curtains were ripped in places, stains on the kitchen counter, furniture old and marked which takes away from the thrill of being in a beautiful location. But then for the price each night you can't really complain given the location and views. I would still stay again.

Views are amazing, location great, size of apartment is awesome (2 bdr apartment). Pool is excellent and lifeguards on hand were really helpful Loved the 2 heated pools and my niece loved the slide. Great that there are vending machines in the basement and you can purchase drinks (including alcohol) at reception. The location is close to shops anyways and tram is right in front of hotel.

Location to the light rail and the conference I attended was great. Very easy to get around. Plenty to see and do and only a short walk to the main shopping strip.

Everything the lagoon pool with tube slides was amazing, plus the bonus of having an indoor heated pool for the windy or cooler days
