Good view over city; quiet clean room,close to function I attended

the bed was the worst mattress that we have slept on in a number of years we have been staying there, your beds have all ways been 100% comfortable in all the years. this was not good. sorry but may need to replace it.

No parking at site, had to park on street. The lobby not very inviting, the carpet was disgusting, needs to be replaced. Felt like the place needed to be updated. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Close to the crown casino, was clean, had its own balcony. Was ok for one night stay, price was good for one night.

Hotel feels a bit old (stained carpet and furniture, dusty lift, messy carpark). There is no direct lift from the carport so you need to carry your suitcase up stairs first. The desk was a little small to work from.

Good value for money. Location was good and easy to get to.

We needed to have a fold away bed for the night, we’re told the room was too small. He had to sleep on the floor at the hospital where my other son was admitted, we couldn’t afford another room

The toilet fan was not working. And hand washing liquid and body shampoo containers were pretty much empty when we came in. Also for the check out, the guy behind the counter did not say a single word or showed a single facial expression. I was talking to him and barely looked at me and was staring at his monitor just stretching hands to receive the room card. I asked him a couple of questions and he was moving his head, to the point I thought he's mute or something. Another guest was watching the "exchange" as it happened and as we all walked out of the hotel caught up with us and told us "what was that?! what was wrong with the guy behind the counter!" and telling us the man had delivered the same treatment to the other guest too. He definitely has no business being in the hospitality industry.

The view was magical. And the evening staff at the check in were a couple of lovely hard working ladies that were under the pump but kept their professionalism and genuine friendliness.

Reception staff on arrival - brusque. Please note - the room was booked for Linda, not Ken. I do not use QR codes, so an information booklet in rooms would be helpful rather than asking staff.

The room I stayed in was a vast improvement on the room stayed in on a previous visit some years ago. Pity about the window looking straight at a wall! The room service meal was good value and tasty.

They no longer have a pool and we requested to have two rooms close (I had booked 4 rooms) and they put the wrong people near each other.

It was close to the foreshore and had views of the fireworks from our balcony

House keeping didn't swap out dirty dishes. We had to reuse old plates and cutlery as no dish brush/detergent was provided. Appliances had expired test & tag dates (6 months overdue)

Bed was quite uncomfortable (the 2 single beds for the kids were lovely! But ours was hard and sunk in the middle). Pillows were quite high so if you are used to a lower one it was quite uncomfortable. Floor had not been vacuumed properly as there was a lot of hair on the carpet.
