Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Shower cleaning has opportunity to improve.
Motel is always good each time I stay, this occasion was good but the cleaning standard was dropped a bit. Will stay at the motel again.

Spa room was a bit dated. No shower curtain for spa/shower and it is a bit dangerous having to climb over the edge of tub to get in.
Good location and parking behind property. Included a breakfast. Had jug, toaster, tea and coffee and biscuits. Had a good size fridge and TV. Great size room for a family. Clean linen and comfortable bedding.

The shower could have had a little more pressure.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. The room was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was a nice inclusion and the lods loved the set-up of 'pick your own'. The rooms were extremely quiet and comfortable. Woukd highly recommended. Excellent value for money

The beds were extremely comfortable the room was very clean. We loved the second door at the back of the room to access the pool. It was so close to the city centre and a 5 minute walk along the river led you to the Blue Lagoon & Caneland shopping centre. Also the staff including the manager were very helpful and welcoming super friendly.

Our room was right beside the pool so didn't feel terribly private. We had to leave the curtains closed on our big windows. The chatter of other guests and their children playing didn't bother us though as the motel had a friendly vibe. The room was air conditioned however we don't like to sleep with aircon on so it was hot during the night (no ceiling fan). The security grill on the window didn't lock so I felt a bit uneasy with the open window beside me during the night.
While dated, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The king size mattress and pillows were fresh and good quality. The breakfast supplies of cereal and toast (which we collected from reception) made mornings simple. The weekend receptionist was friendly and helpful. It's a very short walk to a good choice of restaurants and cafes.

The location is in the city centre and close to the lagoon. Light breakfast provided on check-in which you could choose yourself and take it to the room. Swimming pool is great

Booking included breakfast, but we were not able to access because we arrived after hours, and food was located in the reception area. Room had all of the facilities to make your own breakfast though - if you BYO.
Flexible bed arrangements. Able to accommodate lots of children. Needed 7 separate beds. They were able to provide 2 rooms next to each other. Great for groups traveling for sports or dance activities.

The property is dated but the price reflected this so not really a negative.
Fantastic location. Bed and pillows seemed new and were very comfortable. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was a bonus. Have stayed here several times and will again.

The motel was fully booked, which was good for the operators. However, the lack of allocated and marked/lined parking bays resulted in inconsiderate people taking up 2 car parks. Several guests, including us, had to park on the street when 3 more cars could have easily fitted in if the bays had been numbered. A second dinning chair would have been nice. Room had a musty smell at first. However, this did disappear after several hours of running the A/c.
Very central to all shopping and restaurants plus our sporting venue.
