Our room hadn’t been cleaned when we went into it. Staff gave us another but it was on the shady side of the building unlike our other one.

Location was great. Pool was clean, view was good.

When I arrived at 1.30pm, because I didn’t arrange an early check in, I was told to wait outside until 2.30pm. A lovely family having a barbecue invited me in to sit. Otherwise I would have been sitting outside in the carpark. Surely a little compromise is possible, the room was ready. I asked for a late check out and prepared to pay, abruptly told ‘no’. It is the little things that make the difference .

Dishwasher was dirty, only one wine glass in unit. Air con was filthy and didn’t cool room down properly, fan made a clicking noise when on high. Dishwashing tablet had either already been used or had been wet

Ocean Royale is only a a few feet away from the beach, and the room has the view of the beach, which makes our stay even more enjoyable. Everything is close by, and the room is very clean, comfortable, and spacious for a couple. It was very reasonably priced for 2 days. The staff is very inviting and kind.

Our ac did not work in our room and although we reported it to reception is was not fixed during our stay and we were not offered an alternative room. It was such an issue in the afternoon once the breeze came through and the sun was over us but made for a very stuffy night and morning. Cleanliness was also a little disappointing, the shower drain was full of hair, the ceiling vent ps in the shower and laundry were very ‘furry” ( these ceilings are low so would be an easy clean) and the toilet brush holder was full of dirty water and marks.

Excellent location opposite the beach and a short walk into the centre for Restuarants, bars and shopping. Close to the tram line for a quick ride into Surfers Paradise or a leisurely stroll along the beach can get you there too. Excellent facilities with a full kitchen, plenty of seating, comfortable bed and full laundry. The added bonus are the balcony visitors, we had 7 rainbow lorikeet that visited us twice a day for a feed of grapes, very friendly and relaxed with us.

The very out dated kitchen. Very musty smell on the level we were on when you came our of the room to meet the lifts. Bed a bit on the firm side.

The photos of the rooms were a little deceiving as it looked a bit more modern and new in the photos however the rooms were quite old, for the price we were paying - would have been nice to have a nicer room, however in saying that we were out a lot so didn’t spend too much time in the room so didn’t bother us that much

Spacious well located apartment with nice balcony. Good size kitchen, comfortable beds and reliable internet. Nice onsite pool. Short walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants / facilities within 10 min walk.

Privacy on the balcony if other people were on theirs, no barrier etc but not a huge deal. No air con in the bedroom but the one in the lounge will cool the entire apartment. Guest below me were loud, smoking pot and drinking quite late into the night. I had to close my balcony doors for the smoke smell and noise.

The location is outstanding, the view from my balcony was gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean.

Dirty air filter in the bathroom. And old and dusty furniture. the studio I stayed in could do with revamping and in this climate: one should not have carpet but tiles!

Situated almost right on the beach! The reception desk area and entree are welcoming and friendly. I also appreciated the pool!

If you are looking for a fresh modern apt this isn't for you. The furniture was comfortable though, and the views made up for the age of the place.

The views, location, the roominess, and better than average amount of kitchen gear. It was nice to have an allocated car park, instead of facing the usual hunt for a space. Comfortable and good value.

Faulty light in the living room was annoying. I meant to report it to management (but the only time it was relevant was at night). Bathroom was small but functional.

Location. Close to the beach. High floor. This meant the only noise I heard for 99% of the day and night was the ocean. I was there to study and finally do an on-line exam late at night (out of Europe). Strange circumstances, but this apartment met my needs. A bit of a panic when I checked in that the Wi Fi was down but that was the Optus disaster that affected the whole country - so no reflection on the accommodation.
