Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaWe were initially allocated room 148, which had a full-height, brick wall balcony and an awful smell because of its location within the hotel. We asked to change rooms and our only option was a room that cost an additional $50 a night, yet the hotel wasn’t even close to capacity. It appeared as though it was a tactic to push paid upgrades onto guests. This was very disappointing as the image on our booking was not an accurate reflection of the room we were allocated, and ate into our first day. We also ordered the $34 cheese platter based on a visual we saw on Instagram and it wasn’t presented in the same beautiful way, which was also disappointing. However our stay was otherwise pleasant.
The hotel is located right near SeaWorld and although there are rumours that it is dated, it was honestly absolutely fine.

AustraliaPrice of the buffet was excessive, although it was really a seafood buffet and our family doesnt eat Seafood so we paid a premium unnecessarily. The meal was actually significantly higher than the accommodation so I guess thats what didnt make sense to us.
Hotel looks amazing, high quality and very impressive from the entrance to the rooms. Staff were helpful and the pool was excellent. Kids really loved the pool and it wasnt too crowded even during school holidays thankfully.

AustraliaThe lighting in the bathroom was very dim, it would be an advantage to have an option for brighter lighting. The spa bath jets had not been cleaned / flushed out with appropriate cleaning products. As a result of this procedure not being done, scum and obviously residue from previous guests dead skin cells and bodily oils etc had built up in the jets, when I emptied the bath the bathtub was when I discovered the problem. It is essential that spa baths are cleaned and maintained to ensure that hygiene is maintained.
The staff were very attentive and professional.

AustraliaIt was my husbands birthday and our wedding anniversary, which was mentioned when we made the booking. We received a lovely piece of birthday cake ; it would have been nice to receive some champagne to go with it. Just a thought. We did however receive a voucher for drinks at the bar.
Everything was beautiful , service top notch and accommodating. The only thing is when we checked in, we missed out on our "welcome drinks". We had to go and park our car and when we came back to finalise the checking in process, this went amiss. No biggie, but thought it would have been nice to receive. All in al a great experience.

AustraliaAs mentioned above a door to the bathroom was an issue for me as there wasn't one, just an opening to the vanity bench and a door into toilet and shower cubicle. One would still need to exit shower cubicle to dry and dress, and the toilet was not far from bed either making privacy a major issue.
The room was excellent, though I would have preferred a door into the bathroom as there wasn't one, clearly a privacy issue.

AustraliaWasn't told of the bond prior. So after travelling got stuck trying to get that together as I didn't get paid until the next day. Wasn't given an access key when first checking in so got stuck in the 18 and over first floor. The bond than doesn't get refunded for 3-5 business day. We were put in a room (302) with an awful window outlook and a noisy generator or chimney outside. (Really affected the sleep).
The pool was stunning. The bedroom was divine as was the spa ensuite. Food delicious. Staff were friendly and polite.

AustraliaPool was very cold! It's beautiful but unheated. If it was a little warmer I would have been in heaven.
Rooms were gorgeous and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever stayed in. Lobby facilities and breakfast buffet were very lush.

Abkhazia, GeorgiaSand in the pool. Didn't know breakfast was included. Cocktails can be presented better. Also, whiskey in a plastic tumbler (I know, safety reasons haha)
Suite was amazing, really top tier stuff, as was the pool and all the staff. Drinks and location was incredible. Massage was fantastic as well. Love the classiness and the regal ambience of the entire resort.

AustraliaBring a jumper! The corridors are freezing.
I liked the older style rooms with the rustic furniture style. If you love a modern hotel room it’s not for you as the furniture is quite tired and in need of TLC.

AustraliaThis stay was 100% better than our last experience when it was called Versace. We swore we would never stay again while it was owned by Versace so we thought now it was the Imperial we would give it another try. The rooms were clean and tidy but very tired looking (when we stayed last time the room was filthy). I found the beds quite hard and I woke up sore every morning. The staff were beautiful and helpful from check in to cleaning to restaurants. Check in and out was very slow.
