The unit needs some TLC, we took one of the cushions off the lounge looking for the back of an earring and there was heaps of dust and crumbs underneath the cushions. There were tears in the blinds, the lamps were dusty, outdoor furniture was dusty.

To be honest, it doesn’t look as nice as it showed on the photos, we were quite disappointed. Furnitures were very basic, nothing looks fancy as showed on the photos. The floor was still wet when we arrived after 3pm, this was unexpected. Buffet breakfast options were limited too.

It has indoor and outdoor pools, plus other facilities like tennis court!

Our room was missing all its mugs so we had to have coffees out of small glass cups. There was also a lot of other utensils missing, makes it tricky to cook meals. They didn’t open the pool bar which was disappointing, it was the weekend and the weather was beautiful. Other than that it was lovely.

We had a great room just by the lagoon pool. It was convenient with children.

The guys mowing the lawn in their ride on mower woke me up at 530am with their headlights beaming straight into the room.

The conference was poorly located compared to previous examples at Terrigal Blue Mountains etc - not a proble for the resort but a poor choice for this conference

Location suitable for conference but isolated from shopping for example shopping and choice of restaurants at The Entrance. Choice of accommodation was too limited for our needs.

It would be great if the resort had a hot spa for adults . There are no shops close to the resort.

The property had three pools one of being an indoor pool, sauna, gym and massage spa. Our villa was in close proximity to all facilities. There was a clean bbq near the rock pool. The bar at the resort pool was not open when we were in the water. The beach was about a 7 minute walk it was unpatrolled but still nice for a picnic or walk. There were bikes to hire and golf if you like to play

Place we stayed was not as pictured and very run down. Knocks in the wall everywhere. 2 seater lounge and outdoor furniture (rattan chairs) in the lounge area for extra seating. Was not comfortable for the 4 of us to enjoy in a 2 bedroom place. Bigger lounge seating required. Dirty carpet

The food certainly not the standard one would expect. Menu mmmh, nothing exciting, seaside resort and no fresh seafood ?. Don’t go near high tea, very very poor, mainly shop brought and cut into quarters same sweets served at breakfast. 1 and half sandwiches for two people, they don’t even have fresh tea only tea bag. Breakfast, two days in a row we ordered a cappuccino as we sat down, 45 min later still waiting so we left both mornings without coffee.

Thé villa was well equipped, spacious light and airy. Pool just outside villa. Reception staff excellent extremely helpful. Remember there is no servicing of rooms which is somewhat weird considering the cost.

The apartment didn't justify the cost, it was pretty tired and a strange use of space. The outdoor pools were pretty crowded with screaming kids, but it is what it is. Will come back out of school holidays

Check in was vgood, the bar and restaurant staff were excellent. The food was good, enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna. We also had massages which were delightful.

The main restaurant wasn't open during our stay. The menu options at Shallows Bistro were limited.

The sofa was old, dining table chairs are dirty. The living room’s curtain is a minus point because in the evening, it’s revealing, can see very clear from the outside.

My party included my 88 year old mother, who is mobile but not very confident on chairs. I’d checked in advance and was assured of a room with a downstairs toilet (which was true - tick) and just a few easy stairs to the floor with the bedrooms. What they failed to mention was there was no bannister, making it impossible for my Mum to climb the stairs on her own. I really think from a basic health and safety perspective, the staircase should include a bannister. Necessary even for someone with a bad leg or if you need support going up the stairs for any reason. We’d also asked for another chair for the balcony, which never appeared, even by day 5 in the same apartment. The BBQ area was lovely and very conveniently situated - but wasn’t cleaned at all (including the rubbish from under the BBQ) for three duration of our stay.

The location was lovely and it was well appointed, especially the kitchen, making it a home away from home. The gardens were beautifully laid out and well tended. It had a small playground for children and a children’s pool. The walk to the beach was strenuous but well worth it for the view (though this beach is unattended so good for viewing and walking but not swimming). The main restaurant was very nice.
