Door lock was faulty. Had to call customer service at 11pm. Came reasonably quickly and fixed the problem but it happened again the next day. Desk is only staffed til 3pm Spa was dirty.

I would stay again, but there were a few tiny little things that would have made it perfect. Our unit didn't have ceiling fans and all the windows were stuck shut due to salt air issues. The sliding doors didn't have bolts to allow you to securely keep it ajar at night allowing breeze, so even in Autumn it was a little warm at night (Air con in the living room - not needed if doors could be opened a little). I didn't feel comfortable having the doors open given it was only the fifth floor and crime is common from intruders climbing. The oven didn't really work well, minor. One chair in the dining room had a very loose leg!

The view of the beach, north to south is breathtaking. It's a little older style apartment, but clean and well furnished. The balcony wraps around so you can take in the views all the way along the coast line. Better, with two large sliding doors, you can see the beach from the comfort of the lounge (useful if windy). The pool was simple but nice, great for kids, spa was good also and I discovered a sauna too. On the beach side you don't hear traffic, only the ocean. Had smart TV ready for your media subscriptions. Surf club was steps away, as was the beach and flags for swimming.

The unit 607b did not have a little table on the veranda area as shown in photos on booking.com. It is a small studio I think a small table should be there as you sit outside for views. The TV in this particular unit had terrible reception only got 2 stations not sure if that is the same in all units but feel that should be fixed.

The view was excellent. The linnen was very clean. The reception area is closed most of the time but we were very lucky as we arrived earlier than check in time and were allowed up to the unit. I think the pricing is reasonable and you do pay for what you get.

Not having a table on the balcony as that's where we spent most of the time and not having BBQ utensils in the room to use when having a bbq.

Great views, relatively quiet for a weekend, and the price was fair for what you got.

The maintenance and condition of the unit was in need of work. Balcony door in living area was open on arrival and could not be closed- reported and attended to but still not able to be opened and closed. Window locks were rusted and difficult to open. The bathroom had long standing mould on some of the tiles and the carpet was well worn and stained in places. My bare foot connected with a nail near the kitchen area where carpet met tiles.

The view from the balcony and the bed was comfortable.

Too much noise on GC Highway side of the building and there is a mobile base station on top.of the building which I believe it transmits too much SAR waves.

Cleanliness. Windows and air conditioners needed cleaning. Stayed five days and did not see the pool cleaned or chemical test done and pool was very busy.
