Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaDespite having a kitchenette they only had instant coffee. Wouldn't have been an issue but we stayed over the Easter weekend so finding an open coffee shop was tricky some days.
Nice, spacious apartment with a nice downtown location right across the street from the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful in solving any issues. Easy walking distance to many sights and neighbourhoods

New ZealandAwful noisy old air-conditioning...couldn't sleep with it and too hot without it. And worse still, it's the sort that is ceiling mounted that blasts the air straight onto the bed. Secondly I believe the bathroom had an upgrade but failed to replace taps with a shower mixer!
The location of the Adina is superb. Station over the road and supermarket next door. CBD shopping 2 Minutes away. And I loved the view over Anzac Square

Hotel is in a great location close to Central station, ideal if you are taking the train from the airport. We had a room on the ground floor which was adequate for our needs, comfortable bed and a handy kitchenette.

AustraliaRoom 2016 on level 2 was small but adequate for a stay of one night only. The air conditioning was too cold with no facility available for adjusting the temperature. Bathroom was small and shower recess needed tiles replaced as showing signs of wear and discolouration (mildew) in the grouting. Also the shower head was non-adjustable and way too high up on the wall, plus hot water took forever to come through. Taps also needed to be renewed as hard to turn on. Overall, the shower needs renovation and air conditioning temperature needs adjusting.
The location was perfect for my needs with a bus stop just outside the entrance and the Cross River Ferry terminal a short walking distance away. Brisbane Central train station opposite the hotel. Local grocery store located within the building. Reception staff very friendly and obliging. Beautiful old building and my room was small but adequate for a one night sleep over. Bed was extremely comfortable. Coffee and tea making facilities available along with crockery, cutlery and microwave.

Location to central station & CBD. Very comfortable bad. It is an apart hotel, with the convenience of a Metro grocery store next door. The free Lisbon loop bus stopped outside & the river ferry & the pedestrian shopping street were both a short walk away.

AustraliaThis is second time staying here. Recent stay room 3016 I believe, the bathroom was impractical and extremely small. I smashed my elbow on the shelf in shower and the toilet being right behind the door ,the door stop was a trip hazard as I kicked my toe multiple times. First visit didn’t have this issue, I understand the rooms will vary due to the building. But that would be my only complaint.
Easy to find and arrange car parking. Staff are all so friendly and accommodating. The bed is extremely comfortable.

AustraliaThe room we stayed in had an internal door joining it with another room which is NOT soundproofed. We were kept awake by the loud talking of whoever was staying in the adjacent room well into the late hours of the night. The noise didn't stop until we started banging on the door. If you book here I would ask for a room without an internal door (assuming they have any). The bathroom design in the room was also awkward and weird, the toilet was right behind the door so if you were sitting on the toilet and your partner comes into the bathroom you'll cop the door in the face. The shower screen is also poorly designed and we ended up with a saturated bathmat because water just runs down the screen and out onto the floor. While I did like the slightly dated aesthetic, the interior could use a refresh.
Very convenient location just across the road from Central train station, and short walk to CBD dining precinct. Staff were friendly. Decor is a bit dated now but gives the place a nice charm compared to some of the brand new hotels I've stayed in which are quite sterile. Bed was comfortable and room had double glazing to keep out the external noise. Overall, it was good value for the location.

AustraliaOur noisy neighbours were partying all day and night, However we called the front desk at 1am and they were quiet. Day 2 next door started up again, another call to front desk had it sorted again. We almost had to ask for a room change they were so bad but front desk dealt with each complaint swiftly. Yes it is over new years, but let other people reasonably enjoy their stay too
