Beautiful home and garden and the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The bed was super comfy which made a restful sleep. Great location and lovely walk into town or short drive. Would highly recommend the accommodation to anyone looking at staying over in Bridgetown.

Very clean and comfortable, and plenty of storage room. The balcony is lovely, overlooking the beautiful garden and Blackwood River. Hosts Rick and Katy are very welcoming and provide a very good breakfast in lovely surroundings. Bridgetown is a very nice little town, with good amenities and nice restaurants and cafes. The Ciderey is a great spot to eat and drink.

The hosts Kate and Rick are both charming and obliging. Our bed was comfy. It was lovely to wake up to birdsong... and an early morning stroll down to the river bank. Breakfast was delicious!

Amazing. Loved the room/patio outlook onto a beautiful native and natural garden. Abundance of bird life to watch. A walk down to the river to watch the ducks or walk into Bridgetown along the river track. Delicious breakfast of a morning. Loved this property

Not a dislike but maybe an observation. In the event of very hot or very bad weather a guest would be virtually restricted to their rooms. If this weather were to persist It could prove irksome. In some B n B's we have frequented there has been a central area available to guests, for instance the Dining Room, in the event of bad weather. This would enable them to play cards, read books, watch TV etc. Unfortunately this would not be easy to implement with the layout of the rooms at Rickaty. Another armchair in the bedroom would be nice and would keep guests "off the bed with their clothes on" Please read these in a positive way - our stay with you was bliss compared with some.

Stunning property, with so many beautiful flowering trees and shrubs and very well maintained. It backs directly onto the Blackwood River… and it’s a lovely 20-30 minute walk along the river bank to reach the town centre. The hosts are just so nice, we really enjoyed their hospitality and the great breakfast.

That our two nights went so fast!!

We loved everything about our stay! Perfect location, the room was a decent size and had everything you'd need. The bathroom was large and the shower was fantastic! The view from the balcony was beautiful and it was lovely being able to get down to the river. The cooked breakfast was very nice and very filling, just perfect to set you up for a nice big walk.

This is like paying for a 3 star accommodation and getting upgraded to a 5 star. The hostes are brilliant and making you feel so at home that you would want them to adopt you. I LOVE THEM! Breakfast is realy spesial and is of restorant quality. I have stayed here twice already and will not even consider staying anywhere else.

The location was close to town, on the river and just beautiful. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The included cooked breakfast was filling and VERY delicious. The Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The delightful gardens were full of many varieties of bird life coming to feed and bathe and was wonderful sitting on our personal balcony watching nature. Great value for money.

We loved everything about Rickaty. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming. The room was comfy & quiet with a beautiful view out over the garden and down to the river and lots of little wild birds flitting back and forth across the balcony. Breakfast was very good. The main town is a 20mins stroll along the river if you don't want to drive. We only had two nights this trip, but will definitely return

Everything! Always a delicious breakfast, comfortable room and an amazing outlook from the balcony. Kate and Rick are the loveliest couple; so hospitable and friendly. Rickaty on Blackwood always feels like home away from home. We’ll be back very soon!
