These are great for a family weekend away , not the first time we have stayed and definitely won't be the last , French style cottages on a winery....you can't ask for much more .... they are starting to show a bit of age, but I feel it just adds to the character of this location. Perfectly placed in an area with so much to offer It's great for our city kids to experience what living on a working property is all about . If you don't like early morning alarms ( roosters) I suggest some ear plugs...😆 It just adds to the French style farm stay 👍👍

The hotplates were extremely slow to cook on. So we gave up and used the bbq but that wasnt much better. We ate out after the first night. Also the tiles in the shower were very dirty the grout needs teplacing.

    The location was very tranquil

The room was pretty clean although the bedside lamp was very dusty so I didn't use it. The verandah needed a good clean, lots of cobwebs etc.

We were in Stanton and it was a spacious cottage for 3 people.

No Wi-fi. Would be nice if there is some milk in the fridge you can have in your coffee/tea in the morning. Noisy farm animals (roosters) would wake me up as early as 4am and would not stop squawking till 8am. No shower gels, just shampoo/conditioner.

French Provence style of accommodation, very posh. Very nice bathroom with a free standing bath tub. Comfy beds. The closest possible location to the airport, only 11km or 14mins! Clean. Easy to find and get in.

No walks nearby due to concerns about contamination of vines, which is fair.

Both cottages we had needed some minor maintenance. Most of the window handles were broken and several internal doors not easy to close.

Lovely location with cottages far enough apart to maintain privacy but still close enough for young children to go from one to another by themselves. Our kids loved the free range chickens. The double glazed windows helped minimise the crowing of the roosters every morning. 🤗

No WIFI No milk but tea and coffee No shampoo but conditioner Most of the bedside lamps had blown globes The accomodation was good but a bit tired.

The cottages were comfortable. The staff in the cafe were lovely. We had driven a long way to talk my grand daughter to Peter Rabbits garden and high tea. When we got there the garden was closed - we were not notified, the staff kindly opened the garden the next morning for us. That was very kind.

Previous guests had not put dishes away clean and left things in the fridge. As annoying as that is we just popped the items in the dishwasher and moved on. Shower soap was missing and the plug for the bath did not fit. These small issues will not prevent us from staying again we will be a little more prepared.

The accommodation was everything that pictures lead you to believe and more. Beautifully designed accommodation and the view was magnificent. Loved the farm animals wondering freely, they look so contended and happy. Bistro and Wine tasting was brilliant. It's a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will be coming back.

Only little things - a box of tissues would have been good, plus a couple of extra washers for the bathroom. Heater instructions were a tad confusing but we got there in the end!

It was very well presented, clean, inviting. Heating was great, probably too good, lol! Beautiful view and of course the weather helped!

I’m nit picking. There was no soap for the shower, so used hand soap. Whilst there was salt there was no pepper. It would be nice if there was glad bake and paper towel in the kitchen. There were CD - but nothing to play them on. The bathroom door was hard to pull shut but easier to open. Designated car spots as we were somewhat unsure of where to park.

The shower and water pressure was absolutely amaaaazing. The view of course was spectacular. Loved it. I would absolutely stay again.

The accommodation needs a really good all over clean and freshen up. May as well not have TV there as reception virtually non existent. No WiFi fine with me but not with rest of them!

Great location in the vineyard, quaint decor, near wineries and restaurants and Richmond only minutes away. Lots to see in the valley.
