Unfortunately, upon arrival it turned out that there were no places for dinner in the restaurant belonging to the facility. There was no prior information about the need to make a reservation in advance. There are not many places to eat in the area. We managed to eat breakfast, but it wasn't obvious either.

    Nice location.

The bed dipped in the middle and felt very uncomfortable. There was a washing machine so it would have been nice to have a small amount of laundry powder provided.

Loved the view. The cabin was quaint and felt very woodsy. Good heating.

Pretty expensive but worth it. Food in On The Bay Restaurant was excellent, but it was a shame that it wasn’t open throughout the day as it’s such a lovely setting.

glorious lodge nestled in woodland and overlooking Stewart’s Bay. Very convenient for exploring Port Arthur and doing the amazing Tasmin Island Boat trip. Lodge was really well kitted out with full oven, hob etc. Laundry facilities in the lodge.

The counter staff at the restaurant desperately need "Customer service training". We weren't impressed with the off-handed, even rude, manner our request to sit at a window seat was received then begrudgingly dealt with. That stated the service staff at the restaurant were excellent. Other than that, we felt the food and beverage prices were over priced - I mean $6 and oyster - Really?

Access & accommodation were very pleasant. We appreciated how politely and efficiently the office staff addressed our notification of a TV fault and a poor shower head fitting.

Not much you can change about the winding roads to get to the location. Worth every concentrated second.

Beautiful location. Lovely clean and comfortable beds. Close to the historical village and Remarkable Cave. The Restaurant on the property is exceptional. Star gazing is amazing and the beach is amazing.

I was curious to discover my sister stayed two nights in cabin booked for four people and paid $460. Per night . I booked for two people even though it ended up just being myself . But paid $324 for one night for one bedroom cabin. I did question with Staff and l was told by booking on line l ended paying $50 extra. As this was for commission. ? I live in Hobart and booked on line . I wasn’t under the impression when booking l would need to pay commission.

    Beautiful location , lovely cabins

Nothing to complain about other than its easy to miss the road in, we went past it the first time as it looks like a drive way.

Stunning location, we had the beach to ourselves and the trees make the lodgesvery private. The staff were extremely helpful. We forgot to repack our fridge stuff and they put it in the stand one until we could collect it. The lodges are well-equipped with good heating and cooling, comfortable and cosy, nice bathrooms. They have recycling bins for recyclables

The restaurant is very modern and I think value for money. Parts of the accommodation are tired for the price (the furniture and fittings - bathroom esp) and do not match the restaurant. But it is also peak season!

SBL was in a glorious location, we stayed there after completing the 3 Capes Walk. The weather was superb and we had great celebration on the deck at the house, before heading to the restaurant. The restaurant was superb, great staff, food and wine.

Very grateful for this last minute booking. However the price point for a small one bedroom cabin was perhaps more on the weekly luxury chalet price range and rated to cover public holiday and last minute booking . A little token like a free drink voucher or bottle of wine/beer from the reception gift shop could have softened that sting of the cost plus shown customer appreciation. Small gestures go along way

Last minute availability. I was attending the Tasman Art & Craft Exhibition as a stall holder . I normally would stay with family but due to unwellness I had to look elsewhere. Can always rely on SBL to fit us in for work or pleasure. The restaurant was also open all weekend . Menu, atmosphere and local selection better than ever

The bedding. There are no covers on the doona, just a top and bottom sheet covering the doona. It always makes me skeptical whether or not it is washed between patrons/ stays etc. I also don’t like being asked to load and run the dishwasher prior to leaving or be faced with an additional charge. You pay for the chalet which is quite expensive for what it is. I would expect it to be covered in the cost of the accommodation. In addition to the above there is no daily house keeping unless staying for 4 days or more I believe. You should have the option for housing keeping or not. As above it should be covered in the cost. No wifi.

The location was fabulous to the attractions that we wanted to visit. The bush setting of the chalets were lovely and well presented. The restaurant was great.
