The refurbished unit was looking pretty tired.

Location was excellent, the accommodation was clean and tidy but a little "old" (some units are being refurbished, we had a refurbished unit and a non-refurbished unit).

We stayed in apartment 13 which was at the entrance right next to the Bay Village and on Friday and Saturday night all you could hear was people hanging out in the early hours of the morning, very loud

After booking found out that the one we booked was due for renovations this should have been flagged at the onset However I could have upgraded for another $150 but decided to stick with the booking as only 2 nights overall it wasn’t that bad just a bit tatty but this dose not mean it should be dirty The air con hadn’t seen a clean in god knows how long nor did the inside of the lamps. Towels stained Hopefully they will be more diligent with the cleaning of the refurbished houses as it’s a great place to stay

Great value for money. We were positioned in Hastings St without having to pay $$$$. Everything was clean and well presented. Quiet, safe and private. Easy access with car and great parking right next to our accomodation. We will definitely book here again.

House was dated but appeared to have been painted. Could not open the main window in main bedroom as broken as was one in the Lounge area. Carpet old and could be replaced. Shower head in en-suite bathroom poor.

The location was great. Unit was clean with adequate crockery etc. liked that it was serviced. Liked the parking facility. Access via Hasting Street was easy. Liked the two bathrooms and two toilets. Bonus having a laundry with washing machine and drier.

Outdated deteriorating decor. Managers aware. But well overdue for thorough renovation especially kitchen (water damage, damp smell, crumbling chipboard), bathroom (impractical design, no racks or hooks) and laundry facilities.

We loved it but if I had to pick something it would be the absence of S&P and oil, basics on arrival, we have had that at other places and it’s such a welcoming thing.

We loved our stay at The Hastings Beach House, the construction only caused a minor issue on our last day. Location was fabulous you were right on Hastings, but away from the hustle and bustle. The accomodation was very spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. Staff were great especially the lady on check in, we had a minor issue with our key and she quickly attended to it and sorted out the problem.

The industrial bins next to the property being emptied at 6.00am - not ideal for a weekend sleep in! Noise of the night club next door at night while trying to sleep.

Door handles, & light switches need to be wipeddown, suspicious looking brown stuff on toilet walls/door that I cleaned. Some toiletries would be nice, only place we stayedin Oz, where they weren't present.

This property is very well located for access to Hastings street shopping and cafes and the beach. Well designed beach houses with everything we needed. Good communication from property prior to and during stay.

The stairs were a bit difficult to climb but apart from that, the property was very well positioned and was also well equipped with everything we needed.

A little tiny soap for each bathroom. Why not have the shampoo, conditioner and soap attached in the big bottles that are everywhere in the shower? There was confusion with my booking as it was a confusing time with my Dad’s wake….and we were moved from the larger apartment I thought we’d been moved to, back to the smaller one….a bit more grace would have been appreciated.

Clean, with most things we needed. So close to everything we needed… shops, beach, restaurants etc. Parking included. Good value

These days I would have a preference for a stay with less stairs - not a big issue acknowledging this is a 3 story Beach house.

Great location easy access to Hastings St local shops, facilities and beach. All without having to take the car. Beachhouse had all amenities for a comfortable stay. Request for maintenance on external light actioned immediately.

Gardens around the place could have been a little nicer to give it a warmer feel. Minor details though. At the end of the day, for the cost and location, it's perfect!

Location is amazing especially given it wasn't costly to stay there. Place was comfortable and clean. It's not luxurious, but it has everything that you need.
