Loved how the fireplace was all set up and ready for easy lighting. The soft playing music when you enter and the dim lighting just sets the mood. The tranquility of the stream and rainforest and the chalet being nestled amidst it.

There was a strong musty/damp smell (though I imagine that's hard to avoid in such a damp environment and after there had been so much rain around. Also, the website didn't make it completely obvious that the only food available was the self-cook hampers that needed to be purchased in advance (and there are no supermarkets etc anywhere nearby). Fortunately the staff member was gracious enough to prepare a BBQ hamper last minute, and I am very grateful for that.

Location was stunning. The cabin was a secluded getaway in the middle of the rainforest with a rushing creek right by the deck.

The tennis racquet and balls provided were barely usable, and the bikes weren't in good condition. We enjoyed our stay otherwise when not using those features.

Quiet and peaceful, we had a lovely time relaxing here. The breakfast which you can order was also great and there are many places to visit nearby. There is also an electric car charger here which we were able to use to top up and explore the area without stress.

The lodge was lovely with wonderful views of the forest. It was comfortable and well equipped. Wayne was extremely helpful and friendly.

The Mouse House resort nestled in the rainforest is a true gem. The staff's warmth and courtesy elevate the experience to unparalleled heights. Smell in bedroom (animal urine?/damp) could use some air fresheners to combat musty smell. Kitchen knives and scissors blunt to use.

Would have liked to have been advised that there was a road closure on one of the main roads into Springbrook. The second bedroom was up a very steep ladder.

The setting in the rainforest is stunning. Our Chalet, Grumpy, had a beautiful natural water feature straight off the deck. There is heaps of space between chalets. Lovely comfortable bed and incredible spa bath in gorgeous setting. Fabulous kitchen set up.

Absolutely wonderful retreat. We stayed in Bashful chalet. Such a sweet, cozy, homely chalet. Such thoughtful attention to detail. Extra blankets, fire wood provided, iPad, good quality bbq, tv in both rooms, not to mention the spa bath and the stunning scenery in the Forrest. If you want a real log cabin, cozy experience I can’t recommend it enough. Also, management/ owner so helpful and friendly.

Absolutely amazing! Well worth the drive even for a one night stay. All facilities (kitchen, bathroom, spa bath and bed) exceeded expectations. If the fireplace and aircon aren't enough to keep you warm the heated bed is perfect! Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful environment, walking to the cabin was like entering into a storybook, the cabins nestle into the rainforest and border the brook. Nothing to hear except the brook and the birds. The cabins are well appointed, with all you need to stay. The lighting accentuated the spa and bathroom.

We loved that our cabin was totally private and that we did not hear or see other guests because of the way the houses were facing. Eating areas and bathrooms faced directly into the bush away from other people. When using the spa bath, we opened up the glass doors and felt like we were bathing in amongst the trees. Everywhere you looked, through every window, every door, it was green- tree filled green.
