Water pressure in the showers was low and had some calcium buildup preventing the shower heads to work properly.

The villa was extremely spacious and loved that I had my own pool.

No provision of: Milk and a biscuit to accompany the teabags and coffee sachets in our room. The lady serving us at breakfast came across as 'tough'/'don't try to 'connect'. And yet thankfully when we spoke of good coffee she did know what we were talking about.

It’s in an area with other hotels but slightly isolated. Long (15-30 min) walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Need taxi to centre of town. But there are buses, taxis and electric scooters. Restaurant by pool serves light meals only, up to 4pm. So you have to go out for dinner.

Very nice tropical garden setting, great pool area, comfortable and nicely decorated rooms/villas. Friendly and helpful staff.

The staff could have been friendlier. Also around the pool no one ever cleared the table of dishes and beverages making a nice pool area look messy and unattended and these spaces were not accessible to use as a result. The room cleaning sometimes didn’t take place until after 3 in the afternoon and I had to ask. Although it was nice to have laundry facilities there is only 1 washer and dryer so you had to wait your turn to use it. We had a problem with our phone not working and we couldn’t open safe but luckily reception was still open ( they close early ) and we got that sorted out .

The included breakfast was good. The room was comfortable and pretty spacious as was the bathroom. Having a terrace was also a bonus. It was practical to have access to a laundry room. The location was quiet but very convenient to Cable Beach by foot and also there was a bus right in front of hotel that goes everywhere.

There was no allocated parking for our vehicle. Our room was not always cleaned and Villa needed some maintenance. We had to miss breakfast on several occasions because tours started before breakfast time.

The breakfast each morning was wonderful. Shame the cappuccinos werent included. The pool was beautiful with a refreshing dip each day. I loved having my room serviced daily.

I didnt like the full length window next to the toilet and seeing people walk passed. Not enough privacy in the bathroom because of the window.

Being in a Guest room rather than a Villa we only had a bedroom and bathroom and really no place to sit and relax except outside our door on a small balcony. There is a very nice pool complex but just for some quiet time this is what we had. With no option of evening meal it did mean having to source food elsewhere. In fact we went just up the road to Millie’s cafe in the Caravan Park one day for a lovely breakfast! We booked based on the 5 star rating and the food options I feel don’t make that accurate. My advice is chose your accomodation carefully. If you want more than a room maybe look at a Villa. Also I did not personally like the way an offer of an upgrade prior to check in was done via a bid! I would much prefer to know the cost etc and make the decision

It was close to Cable Beach, a 10 minute walk. In what we felt was a safer area of town. Our Guest Room was always clean and was like a hotel room. A nice cafe with limited choices next to the lovely pool complex. Breakfast was a simple continental but sufficient quantities.

The lack of food/meal options. The bar/cafe closing at 4pm wasn’t ideal. The included breakfast was disappointing. A lunch or dinner menu would take this property to the next level.

It was clean and the staff were friendly and very accomodating. The location was perfect.
