No warning about distance from Paynesville.

The location was superb, could not be better. But, it was a long way from Paynesville. Very quiet, plenty of space (acres of it) between ‘lodges’. Visitors need to be totally self sufficient, (but kitchen facilities excellent). Would stay again if travelling in that area.

Didn't know the property was secluded and not near any towns. Thought it was in paynesville but paynesville was about 20 minutes away. It was in the middle of the bush wish I had known

The unit was great, spacious and fully equipped. Fun activities for kids. Great views. Had spa and playing equipment for kids.

there are no reflectors on post or trees alone tracks to your cabin there are no lights along tracks to your cabin so at night its very hard to see were you are going

I liked everything unfortunately, my car was damaged if they pay for the damage to my car I will be happy with the whole experience.

An peaceful retreat, away from everything with a private jetty to relax and do water activities at. We came here for a short break looking for some peace and quiet, as well as enjoying the provided standup paddle board and kayaks. Owner was super helpful and check in was easy. We had a car battery problem on the day of departure and the property owner helped us fixed it promptly which makes the whole experience very low stress. The grounds are well maintained and the lodge was spacious with a massive window view of the garden and wildlife. It has everything that we were looking for and will definitely return for another summer retreat. Oh and the Wifi speed is maxed out and excellent.

The cottage itself is a bit dated and could use a bit of tlc. Not much else wrong with it!

Location! Absolutely magnificent views! Right at the lake front with lots of kangaroos, different varieties of birds, swans all out and about. Having two bathrooms and two toilets was great considering we were two families travelling together. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities.

Too many bugs. The windows were not properly sealed so the bugs got inside during the night.

The pool was sadly under repair so couldn't be used but looked good.

Although we didn't have a lake view, the birds were lovely and the bird food provided was also loved by all wildlife. Really good heating and loved the mezzanine design.

Very quiet. Staff friendly and very helpful, but also gave us our privacy. While the accomodation is not brand new, it had everything we needed for a relaxing family break. Comfortable beds and furniture, cooking resources etc. The kids 7 &8 were entertained by the range of included activities such as bike riding, indoor heated pool and spa, canoeing and feeding the kangaroos.
