As other reviews have said the smell but honestly it’s only during certain hours of the day and the rooms themselves did not have any scent or anything just the outside which was fine by us

Loved how clean it was!! The bathroom, the bed and the floor everything was spotless when we arrived! Would definitely stay again. The team members were so nice and loved the bar that they have on the property especially the happy hour!!!

It was high season but low flexibility on late check out ( even paying for it) even if requested with buffer prior the next day check in time. Restaurant at 330 pm prepare in the beach and first line umbrella have to leave. 330 pm is really early to stop beach activities. The bar service is good but a bit slow

The only thing we'd say was a bit annoying was the smell of the sewer treatment plant nearby. I understand that the property has recently had some success in getting this addressed with the local authorities so hopefully this is a non-issue soon. Otherwise this is a perfect place to stay!!

The organization of palapas needs help. Hotel guest refused palapa but then with a credit card exchange non hotel people were given them Noticed several times.T shirts and towels over chairs in front palapas removed by beach attendant and given to credit card paying non hotel guests

Main road between the resort and the beach which seems to be very common for a lot of resorts in Aruba aside from the large high-rise hotels.

Proximity to the beach. Liked the restaurant,. All the staff were very Friendly and helpful. Liked the layout of our room with the extra space in the Turret area of the room. having a kitchenette and a small fridge was good .

The beach used by the hotel is getting too crowded. The trend over the years has been to reserve a spot under the tiki shelters early in the morning. Typically if you did that by 7AM, you could get a good spot. This past visit, that was not early enough. Who wants to walk to the beach at 6AM to reserve a spot and then find that no one actually starts to use those spots until about 10AM…

My wife and I started coming to the Amsterdam Manor hotel almost 20 years ago and this was probably our sixth visit. The hotel and staff and facilities are excellent, but the beach is getting too crowded.

We were not as fond of the bar restaurant— the food was OK, and the service was very slow. The entertainment that evening was just ok.

Would have liked a bigger bed as its only a double and also a full length mirror in the room would have been good. Passion's beach bar is quite expensive as they are the only beach bar around so have the monopoly and they don't have a happy hour. The pool is quite small but that didn't affect us as we prefer the beach.

The hotel is across a small road facing the beach, Eagle Beach is lovely, not over crowded and hotel guests are not charged for the sun loungers. The hotel is at the start of Eagle beach so about a 25 minute walk to Palm beach or a five minute bus ride. The room was very clean and the kitchenette was well equipped. There is a very large supermarket near by so you can stock up on essentials. The Horizons bar is open 4pm to 11pm and has two happy hour slots which is great as drinks are expensive.

We did not like the smell from the waste water treatment plant. That’s a big turnoff and our next trip here will be contingent upon whether we stay here. I enjoy sitting out in the evenings and enjoying a cigar and the smell made it hard to enjoy.

Location to the beach was excellent. Staff so friendly my wife and I actually talked about how we were made to feel like family.

There is a nice kitchen in the room that we used but would be nice if we had at least continental breakfast there.
