Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Absolutely loved this Aplace. Felt like coming home after a long day of exploring. Such a fabulous location. Would definitely stay here every time visiting Antwerp

The only negative is the lighting in the apartment was bit dark. Also, please be award there is no elevator. We did not expect one so were completely happy
The apartment was great and in a very good location. It was easy to find Birds/Lime scooters for traveling any distance. We would stay there again.

This was, without question, one of the best places I’ve booked. Karin was fabulous. So easy to work with and helpful in giving recommendations. She couldn’t have made our stay easier. The room was so nice and comfortable. Perfect location.

Everything of it! The gem location, the clean & comfort of the apartment, the thoughtfulness and prompt relies from the host. The apartment itself became our favorite thing in Antwerp. Highly highly recommended!

Only downside was stairs to third floor (no lift) so a little awkward with luggage

Everything was up to standards, no complaints here.
A clean suite with well-kept facilities. The bed is really big and comfortable, in a cozy and quiet bedroom. The shower is also perfect for couples to shower together. Perfect place to share some quality time with your partner near the city center!

The location was brilliant, right in the center but without any noise. We really enjoyed the luxury of our suite, with all it's special touches and decor. A lot of thought went into the design and it felt like a real treat for us. We met our hostess and found her very friendly, informative and kind.

We were on the top floor with great views of the square below but that meant climbing many stairs. it was worth it for the view. We were warned in advance there was no lift so this was not an issue for us. The square contains some bars and there was some slight noise in the evening but this was all over by 11pm anyway and the property is very well insulated. For us this wasn’t a problem and we feel we are sensitive to noise, so don’t let this put you off. The bedrooms are situated at the rear of the property anyway.
The apartment had everything we needed for our short break. The location was perfect and a short walk away from the main transport hub, historic centre and shopping area. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. Spotlessly clean everywhere too. Good contact from the host and we felt if we needed help/advice during our stay we could have approached them.

It was a nice cozy place in the heart of the city. The bed was really comfortable. P.S having speaker is a good idea to wake up with music. I appreciated live flowers and candles that added more atmosphere.

Perfect spot to stay why spending a couple of days in Antwerp. It had everything we needed plus a nice view and some beautiful mid-century furniture.

No adaptors for international chargers provided so make sure to bring your own! Everything else from hair dryers, chromecast TV available, water, coffee/tea, toiletries are of good quality are included!

The place is simply lovely. We only travel to Antwerp when we can stay there. There is no more charming hotel room in town.
