The hotel was in a renovating phase, but we didn't had any issues with this. The rooms are a little bit old, but spacious and clean. Breakfast is very good with a lot of options.

Broken lamp and luggage rack and towel racks should be added near the sink.

It was hard to find the entrance, a problem I have never encountered anywhere before. Once found, it was locked (at 3pm on a Sunday). The hotel is very worn out in just about every aspect though the shower worked well. The price was high, for what one gets.

The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything the neighbors do. The rooms are smaller than advertised. The television is very old and does not support casting, except on YouTube. So you can't watch Netflix or any movies. Only live TV.

bathroom had no door. so no privacy if you need to go to the toilet. bath tub was very nice but the sink was not working meaning that the water did not float away as the knob needed to be held manually to get the water removed. and as this is a very large bath this took a lot of time. after mentioning to the reception they say after the problem was still existing

We stayed Thursday to Sunday night inclusive and on the Friday and Saturday nights were weddings/events and there was a lot of noise (music, people banging doors and talking loudly in the corridors) up until 3am on both nights. Doors could do with soft closures that prevent people banging them.

Pleasant historical building in a lovely location. Excellent breakfast and high standard of cleanliness.

Perhaps because of arriving on market dat, it was difficult to get to the hotel as even ‘HERE WE GO’ let us drive in circles. During breakfast water from the sealing was dripping on our table and on the plate of my friend. We moved the table and had our breakfast.

My bathroom with toilet had no door,thats just ridiculous for any hotel.The walls are thin and I could hear people in the early morning.Ventilation could be a problem,its not even summer yet and I was hot.No fan in the room.

The building has a nice atmosphere and if your lucky you have a room accross the channel.Its also very close to the central town.

The decor of the rooms was not that great. The bathroom is a bit outdated, although it's clean. The hallway was a bit smelly, but maybe that was just that day for some reason.

First of all, the location is super! Can't be better. It is in the middle of the town and still a quiet place. Staff is friendly and the size of the rooms are quiet big. You can park your car nearby on a public parking space, which is not to expensive.

We did not have a Bed, it was two mattresses on the floor, we immediatey went to reception to complain, as both myself and my Husband are in our twilight years and find it very difficult to get on floor, let alone get up from the floor, we were told that there were no other rooms available. As we were travelling with friends we stayed where we were other wise we would have had to find alternative accomodation. then on top of our very dissapointing room we were unable to lock the door which led to more anxiety as I was unable to sleep due to the insecurity. We were not told beforehand that the Hotel was undergoing refurbishments and that the Restaurant was not open, this is very misleading and it felt like we were in a construction zone.
