Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomShower was dirty and hot water only lasted 4 to 5 minutes. Toilet is 2 meters from the bed and the door does not allow for much privacy. Room was on the third story at the top of a very narrow staircase which was not convenient for carrying our bags. No kettle for a cup of tea and USB charging ports didn’t work on one side of the bed. Pillows were also not comfortable and the TV only had an Apple TV plugged in.
Great location as it is conveniently close to transport, restaurants, cafes and sights to see. Bed was large and mattress was comfortable. Great heating for a cold day and was easy to gain entry.

Kenyathe property is fully contactless, meaning there is no staff at hand for anything. i wanted to gain access to the hotel 15mins before 3pm - just to drop my luggage but that is also not possible as nobody answered the call when i pressed the call button. and finally the stairs - while it is understandable that its a renovated old building - its steep and narrow. What isnt understandable is that there are nails coming out fr the broken wood pieces on the stairs. my tshirt got snagged on it and gone!

IrelandIt's a good property and a very good location but the only drawback is the self check-in part. I informed the staff we were arriving early and I needed to check in early and they confirmed it. Once we arrived and after a lot of calls noone replied so we had to wait for 2 hours around with luggages.

GermanyThe bathroom walls could be re-painted. The self check-in was not obvious or easy to manage. One key on the code in the email was not the same as on the keyboard on the wall.
The room had an inside patio and looked very elegant. There was a kitchen behind the closet wall. The location was around the corner of the Friday market with many restaurant options. It was nice and quiet.
