It does not have elevator. In case you have reduced mobility or you go with elderly, it might be difficult to use the stairs with your lugagge.

Shower was dirty and hot water only lasted 4 to 5 minutes. Toilet is 2 meters from the bed and the door does not allow for much privacy. Room was on the third story at the top of a very narrow staircase which was not convenient for carrying our bags. No kettle for a cup of tea and USB charging ports didn’t work on one side of the bed. Pillows were also not comfortable and the TV only had an Apple TV plugged in.

Great location as it is conveniently close to transport, restaurants, cafes and sights to see. Bed was large and mattress was comfortable. Great heating for a cold day and was easy to gain entry.

If other people living in the same hotel are not careful with being quiet then you will hear them clearly because the building is old . Wooden stairs etc .

the property is fully contactless, meaning there is no staff at hand for anything. i wanted to gain access to the hotel 15mins before 3pm - just to drop my luggage but that is also not possible as nobody answered the call when i pressed the call button. and finally the stairs - while it is understandable that its a renovated old building - its steep and narrow. What isnt understandable is that there are nails coming out fr the broken wood pieces on the stairs. my tshirt got snagged on it and gone!

The narrow steps to reach the room. There is no elevator. The room is in the attic and has sloping sides. So banged my head where the roof is close like the washroom , handwash... Expected a reply to my query for storage of my bags for a couple of hours after checkout. Did not get any reply.

It's a good property and a very good location but the only drawback is the self check-in part. I informed the staff we were arriving early and I needed to check in early and they confirmed it. Once we arrived and after a lot of calls noone replied so we had to wait for 2 hours around with luggages.

Parking is expensive in Gent, free parking in front of hotel just between 23:00-8:00. Would be fine to have kettle in the room.

The bathroom walls could be re-painted. The self check-in was not obvious or easy to manage. One key on the code in the email was not the same as on the keyboard on the wall.

The room had an inside patio and looked very elegant. There was a kitchen behind the closet wall. The location was around the corner of the Friday market with many restaurant options. It was nice and quiet.

We unfortunately stayed at the hotel for a few hours because a problem arose during the night with our stay and the manager (Hussein) helped us by transferring us to another property of theirs, in which some rooms are still under reconstruction and there is a relative mess.

The only thing that didn’t make our stay 10/10 is that it is located next to a dance club with loud music until 4 am. If you are sensitive to noise its something to consider.

There was some confusion around checking in and I received automated emails (I think) that made checking in and out confusing.

The location of the hotel was excellent - close to bars and restaurants nearby. The room was really clean and the whole building was really well kept.
